The Habit Burger Grill has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots. Ever since a coworker recommended it, I’ve been coming here almost every week—and it never disappoints.
They offer excellent value, especially with their sandwich specials. The $6 option comes with half a grilled chicken sandwich loaded with tomatoes, lettuce, sauce, and caramelized onions. There are also upgraded versions around $8 and $10 that include extras like avocado. For the price, it’s a solid deal.
The burgers are charcoal-grilled, which really sets them apart—juicy, flavorful, and consistently fresh. You can tell they care about quality: ingredients are cut in-house, patties are made fresh, and everything tastes clean and well-prepared. Burgers typically range from about $7 to $15 for a full meal, and even their double-patty burgers come out to around $8.50 with tax, which is very reasonable.
Online ordering and pickup are super convenient. You can order ahead, and most locations prepare the food fresh when you arrive. While some locations can be hit or miss with the $6 sandwich special, the burgers are almost always made fresh and hot.
Compared to In-N-Out, the prices are about the same these days—but Habit feels higher quality, with more variety and way less traffic. Seating is comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and most locations have a really nice vibe.
Overall, I’d absolutely recommend The Habit for families, friends, solo diners—anyone really. Affordable, high-quality food without the long lines. Definitely worth trying, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I had to sit in corner little seat while employee sat in the big table by himself eating right jn the front where the only seat gets the sun. Should employees in uniform eat maybe in the rear of the establishment so customers can sit in the tables since they don’t have that many available at this location! No handicap sitting ibsaw and no handicap parking nearer to the facility. And I am handicapped and have plaque . The charburger cheese meal I ordered was undercooked bread was hard like it was microwaved too long oe griddle to long. Pay few dollars for the cheese ok. Comes with fries but to do the half fries half onion rings isb4 something more? Why not just charge a upgrade since regular fries are included No you wanna charge me full price for half and half and get bo fries that came with the meal I am alread8nf paying for. So basically almost 18 for a chebueger with cheese meal that advertised less ams didn’t get the half and half stayed with the meal so called deal. Soda was too much syrup and not carbon to make it a soda was Luke syrup and I had dr pepper. I would give this place a negative 10

Manager Stephanie was amazing, from the moment we walk in her warm smile greeted us in, we had a nice meal and throughout the night she made sure we had what we needed from cups to meal at the table. Saw her interact with her team and all customers in a very friendly manner. There is no substitute for quality or Stephanie at The Habit. Thank you Stephanie you were the cherry on top of our cake to end a great night.

The customer service here is unmatched. Ran into issues with my order, all due to me, and they fixed it no problem. With a hungry toddler in my arms, I greatly appreciate the swiftness and them going out of their way to help.

Came here to say this place is great! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Was looking for something new to try and we decided to eat here. Long story short we were back two times within 8 days. Tried about 6 different things from salads to burgers. Everything was great.

Santa Barbara burger is good, lots of sour cream and the pattys are relatively thin. Fries are okay.
They have jalapeños, chillis, peppercinis, and ketchup if you want those as well.
