The restaurant was very dirty and poorly maintained. The tables were not clean, and the drink station was the worst area. There were fries all over the counter, sticky surfaces, and it looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. One employee attempted to wipe the area with a dirty rag and water, which only spread the mess around and left everything wet and unsanitary.
What made this even more shocking is that the restaurant was not busy at all. It was only us, another couple, and one person picking up an order. With so few customers, there is no excuse for the place to be that filthy.
What was even more concerning was the manager working in the grill area flipping burgers. She was touching her face, checking her phone, and putting her phone back in her back pocket while handling food. She was also not wearing a hat or hair net, and we never saw her wash her hands at all, which is extremely unsanitary in a food preparation environment.
The employee who took our order seemed more interested in playing around with coworkers instead of focusing on customers. Meanwhile, the cook was frequently on her phone and talking, which likely explains why the food took a very long time to come out.
When the food finally arrived, the fries were soggy and not fresh. After seeing the condition of the restaurant and the food quality, we asked the manager for a refund, but she refused and was very rude. Because of this, we ended up throwing the food in the trash and leaving to eat somewhere else.
To make matters worse, the air vents were covered in dust and dirt, making the entire place look neglected and unhygienic. It really makes you question the overall cleanliness and food safety standards of the restaurant.
Overall, the employees seemed more focused on talking, being on their phones, and socializing than actually working or maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
Honestly, after seeing the condition of the restaurant and the lack of hygiene practices, I don’t understand how the health department has not shut this place down, because clearly these conditions pose a serious health risk to customers.
I have attached pictures as proof, and people should be aware of the conditions at this location.
