My experience at The Habit Burger Grill was extremely disappointing and honestly concerning.
The restaurant was very dirty and poorly maintained. The tables were not clean, and the drink station was the worst area. There were fries all over the counter, sticky surfaces, and it looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. One employee attempted to wipe the area with a dirty rag and water, which only spread the mess around and left everything wet and unsanitary.
What made this even more shocking is that the restaurant was not busy at all. It was only us, another couple, and one person picking up an order. With so few customers, there is no excuse for the place to be that filthy.
What was even more concerning was the manager working in the grill area flipping burgers. She was touching her face, checking her phone, and putting her phone back in her back pocket while handling food. She was also not wearing a hat or hair net, and we never saw her wash her hands at all, which is extremely unsanitary in a food preparation environment.
The employee who took our order seemed more interested in playing around with coworkers instead of focusing on customers. Meanwhile, the cook was frequently on her phone and talking, which likely explains why the food took a very long time to come out.
When the food finally arrived, the fries were soggy and not fresh. After seeing the condition of the restaurant and the food quality, we asked the manager for a refund, but she refused and was very rude. Because of this, we ended up throwing the food in the trash and leaving to eat somewhere else.
To make matters worse, the air vents were covered in dust and dirt, making the entire place look neglected and unhygienic. It really makes you question the overall cleanliness and food safety standards of the restaurant.
Overall, the employees seemed more focused on talking, being on their phones, and socializing than actually working or maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
Honestly, after seeing the condition of the restaurant and the lack of hygiene practices, I don’t understand how the health department has not shut this place down, because clearly these conditions pose a serious health risk to customers.
I have attached pictures as proof, and people should be aware of the conditions at this location.

First time trying Habit. With so many delicious places to eat, I have no idea why this place exists. Four of us ate there. Three plain burger combo meals with bacon added, one with tempura green beans instead of fries and also one sourdough burger with a drink and green beans and it was $75. Very tiny burgers. They looked like McDonald’s cheeseburgers with a slightly larger patty and the bacon could not be seen unless the bun was lifted off showing one slice of bacon broken arranged in a circle. Most of the tables were dirty with drink spills, napkins, and crumbs. The staff was robotic even after I told them I’d never been to a Habit and asked what is popular and the gentleman just told me what he eats. It was not very convincing that he even likes the food there. The location was dirty and maybe that was an anomaly but the food was boring, bland, and overpriced and that’s the reason I won’t ever return to a Habit.

As a regular customer I expected a little more they gave a sandwich with no flavor I try to eat some of the sandwich but it was the taste and the smell so I went to the desk to see if they can fix it but they can’t I’m still hungry and I paid for a sandwich that I have to throw it away. The cashier wouldn’t accept my 20$ bill because she claimed “ it looks funny”. What kind of customer service is that? I took the money to the bank and it absolutely is a real 20$ bill. Need to hire more competent employees!

The burger was fantastic one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The restaurant was very clean except I had to wipe tge table of it still had crumbs from a previous customer. The way they called the numbers out was kinda confusing when we used the automated register. I also believe they gave me a regular cup instead of tge large I ordered.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at this location and I usually have a no complaints. After the employee gave us our order we discovered it was wrong at the counter and they attempted to correct it. My shake had been sitting out the entire time so it was pretty soft. After getting home and checking our food we noticed one of the burgers was not well done,2 were missing the avocado we paid for, and my beef patty was so tiny and was not the double I had ordered.

I ordered two chocolate shakes on the app with the 2 for 1 deal. When I got to the restaurant I was informed that the shake machine was broken. I didnt get the shakes I already paid for and also lost the 2 for 1 deal. Couldn’t get a refund at the restaurant and there is no phone number to call. Had to go to the website to submit my complaint and ask for a refund. Now I have to wait and hope for for a phone call or email and a refund.

We’ve eaten at this location for years. But now the tables are always dirty. They’re grimy from lack of proper cleaning, even the edges are grimy. The condiment area doors are also gross. We even tried to clean our table but it seems they’ve gotten so bad it will take a good steam cleaning to get them sanitary again. We love the Habit’s food, but rather concerned what the food prep area at this local might also be like. Unfortunately we won’t be back to this location, the past 2 visits grossed us out. We’ll patronize the new Habit in Lake Elsinore, it’s new and clean.

9/13/24, roughly around 4p.m. I ordered my patties WELL DONE and received RAW PATTIES. How is this safe to eat? Oh wait! It’s NOT! This is irresponsible and careless. People like this should NEVER work in the food industry. Look at the Picture that was uploaded. Make it make sense. Customer service was good, but when the cook is careless it makes you think twice about eating at all. Disgusting!
