I had a great experience at this Habit Burger Grill location. The ordering process was very efficient, quick, and well-organized, which made the visit smooth from start to finish. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, with a neat and inviting layout.
I especially appreciated how nicely displayed the small salad bar area was — everything looked fresh, organized, and easy to access. It added a nice touch and showed attention to detail.
As for the food, the crispy chicken sandwich was excellent — flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying . It definitely stood out and is something I’d order again.
Overall, this location delivers on cleanliness, efficiency, and food quality. A solid choice for a quick yet well-done meal on Virginia Beach Blvd.

So excited that Habit Bar & Grill opened in the 757! Being allergic to latex leaves me with limited options, so I was thrilled to find out they use vinyl and nitrile gloves. It’s great to have a new spot I can safely enjoy when I’m craving a good burger!
If you want a refreshingly light drink, try the Dragonfruit Limeade—I was so impressed with how subtly tart and not overly sweet it was. Such a nice, refreshing option if you don’t want a soda. I ordered the Teriyaki Char Meal, and the burger was cooked perfectly! They did forget my grilled pineapple at first, but they brought it out right away. The combination of pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and caramelized onions created a delicious sweet-savory flavor that’s now one of my favorites.
The sweet potato fries were also excellent—and I really appreciate that they didn’t add cinnamon sugar. The restaurant itself was spotless, well-run, and had a welcoming vibe. You order at the counter when you walk in, but the employees are right there if you need help—so friendly and attentive.

Any place that makes their food to order is going to be decent. Quality gets magnified when the food sits.
To me, Habit is a couple of steps above fast food joints but a couple of steps below five guys.
This visit, the top patty and onions were burnt.
They were out of ketchup in the dining room so I had to get the packets and they are very stingy with that.
Overall it’s not a bad place, will go again.

Had time to kill and dropped in for a very early lunch. To be fair. I’m a traditional American cheeseburger guy – tomato, pickle, lettuce, mustard, mayo, ketchup, sometimes onions. The Habit Char burgers are different from that – grilled onions are prominent in the flavor profile, so if that is your thing, this might be your place. The burger was hot off the grill and to their credit, presented like a menu photo. The ingredients were fresh but the onions and char flavor are so strong that I was unable to discern the beef flavor. The only other flavors that stood were the cheese and pickles, but the texture of the lettuce was there. Again, this was an adventure trail off the standard by which I judge all burgers, and though not my preference – I wouldn’t knock it for those that enjoy this style. The onion rings were decent but the ranch and avocado sauces were nearly indistinguishable between each other in taste. Service was prompt and friendly, but I was the only patron at the time. If I were to come back, it would be to try something else on the menu but that’s only because this style of burger isn’t the first thing I think of when I want one. Overall, the grilled onion or adventurous burger eaters, it’s worth a try.

Our first time to eat at Habit and we loved the Burgers and excellent service. I have never liked hamburger buns so I usually order a burger wrapped in lettuce but Habit has a burger on Sourdough! It is called the Santa Barbara Char and it has avocado on it. It is my new favorite burger. My daughter also ordered something she has never eaten before. She tried the Teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple and onions. she loved it! The restaurant has freshly made limeades with strawberry or dragon fruit. The strawberry limeade is our favorite. The crunchy onion rings are the best we have ever tasted and not greasy at all! We also purchased french fries and sweet potato fries but did not care for either of them. The milkshakes looked delicious and seemed to be popular. There is a hot pepper bar and fresh cut limes and lemons, self service. It took a bit for the food to be prepared but please do not get hangry- it is well worth the wait. Munch on some peppers while you wait.

The facility is nice, bright, and appears clean. Unfortunately, the customer service was subpar. We ordered the family char box, and while the order was correct and included all requested customizations, the food itself was disappointing. The burgers were overly salty. The tempura string beans were delicious. This may have been an off night, but as a first impression, my family and I was not impressed. Based on this experience, I would not return.

Well I order online and the pick up and service was great. About the food. Hamburger was not fully cooked and really I didn’t like it at all. Fries where normal no big expectations but the onion rings where the best onion ring I had ever tasted the onion rings deserves a 5 start really recommend but the rest of the food not at all.

Stopped by The Habit Burger Grill in Virginia Beach and was pleasantly surprised. The BOGO Chicken Club and French fries were just right. The staff—Marcle and Janice—were friendly, and the place was spotless. Prices were fair for the quality—definitely beats most fast food spots. I’ll be back for the BOGO Salad Entrée next time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Phenomenal service! Ms. Janice and her team went the extra mile to ensure our Char Boxes were fresh, tasty, and ready for our church’s family movie night! They were simply amazing! I will be back again for those yummy salads! Thank you Habit Burger!
