On our way to Yosemite, we were looking for a place to pick our lunch from. This seem like a nice option given the rating. So we went ahead and asked for our usual order at any Mediterranean place, falafel plate and chicken donor kebab wrap.
There were very few people in the restaurant for food, most of them were sitting with the there drinks on the cafe side. The cafe seemed more popular. The ambiance of this place was okay. There was a bit of grocery section too, stacked with spices, deli items etc. a little unorganised but not unthinkable , given that this place had a lot going on.
Food wise, it was a little underwhelming.
The falafels were unusually chewy and dry even after adding sauces, hummus salad and rice were good. the chicken wrap was okay ish.
The best thing about the place though was it’s location, especially for all the people headed into the park.
Overall an okay experience. Next time I would either like to stop here to try coffee or tea.

Great place for quality goat meat. The meat is very fresh and tastes excellent. The owner is very nice and honest, which makes the experience even better. Their tea and desserts are also really good. Highly recommended.

The Meat Pies deserve a special mention. They tasted so authentic and traditional, it was as if my Palestinian mother had made them herself. This level of authenticity is rare and deeply appreciated.

Habibi, this is the best falafel sandwich this country has to offer! Correctly cooked falafel is so hard to find, but someone taught these guys proper. Just a touch of spice, fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked and seasoned falafel with a tahini sauce made this a beautiful sandwich to see and to eat. Life goal will be to return to this place one day IA!

Not simply a market, they make delicious meals and snacks that are unique and filling. The employees are so helpful and are always working so hard. Definitely worth the visit

They said they’re sad that Afghan women in the west have freedom. Can’t believe a business has these kind of videos on their FYP, can’t mind their business, and makes comments with their business profile. Very unprofessional, since they live in the US, run a business in the US, benefits, and comments on women doing the same . This is the one I ran into. I don’t know how much more comments they made on other women’s post. Plain goofball business.

So the new owners are Yemeni, they did a wonderful job with remodeling. It looks twice as big as it used to! The food here is delicious and fresh, they have a good selection of Arabic groceries and halal meats too. The coffee was so yummy! I was really impressed.
