Last night was our first time here and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the food, ambiance, and service. It’s like walking into a little restaurant in Mexico, with lovely decorations and painted murals. The music also added to the ambiance, and wasn’t too loud ever. Our waiter, Memo, took excellent care of us and always made sure our drinks were refilled.
We shared the Fajitas for two (the special tonight), which included strips of chicken and steak with sautéed onions, green peppers and tomatoes. All fajitas are served with rice, refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and tortillas. The only thing I didn’t care for was my glass of Sangria, which was not homemade and I think poured straight out of a bottle. My better half ended up drinking it, so it wasn’t wasted. We will definitely be back, as this has now become our favorite Mexican place and can’t recommend it enough.

Saturday dinner special is the Fajitas for two, $23.99.
Plenty of parking spaces in their huge parking lot.
If you want to avoid the huge dinner crowd, go around 5:30 pm.

Habaneros offers excellent fajitas options. I had the shrimp, steak and chicken mix. The starter chips and salsa served at the beginning were very good as well. The service was quick. I would come back here again in the future.

It’s not often you discover great Mexican right off the interstate but Habaneros was a great find. Our lunches were delicious, service efficient and the atmosphere, fun and uplifting. What a delight to take a break from our long drive for lunch. We’ll be back!

Manager and server were RUDE because we asked for a nacho order to be remade. The manager even mocked us in our faces. Will not be back the service we received was sickening, they brought us back the same plate of food with more queso dumped on top and we knew because it still had the same chip bit off under the queso. They eventually brought us a plate laughing with everything separated out and was upset that we did not want it anymore.

I absolutely love the Mexican rice!! No where comes close to how they make it! Service was excellent, the waiter was patient and explained things as best he could. Great place to eat!

Service was good, waitress was polite, attentive and took care of everything I needed. The salsa could have been better and is actually a downgrade from my favorite local restaurant back home, but I don’t think that alone warranted a 4 star. Everything else was delicious! I ordered their special tropical chicken which came out sizzling and steaming on a cast iron platter and it was very good. Overall great experience and I would recommend you try it.

We visit Habenero’s restaurant once or twice every week. They have great service, great food, and are priced very reasonably.

I recommend the veggie fajitas for a vegetable dish, and my husband always orders the shredded chicken nachos with rice on top.
Pictured with the enchiladas Popeye, and I did like it, but I always go back to veggie fajitas or the veggie quesadilla.

I asked my wife to phone in order, when I arrived there was no order. Not they’re fault I asked the manager if I could use a phone to call home, they said they didn’t have one, I’ve been going to this restaurant with my family for 8 years, 5 minutes later my wife called and he said I just left, if they had a phone I could use they would be happy I would be happy and I would have left a good review.
