Haans made all of the desserts for our wedding this weekend. They were easy to work with in the planning process. We ordered a mixture of cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, pies and a small cake. All of which were made fresh and tasted delicious!

Their pastries are super good(out of this world delicious), but they no longer serve doughnuts and the girl behind the counter is Rude!!!!…Like what does it matter how much sugar I put in my coffee???….I literally had to bang the sugar container on the counter to get the tiny itty bitty little bit of sugar there was left in the container out….all because she didn’t wanna go refill it….Then for her to stand there and tell me that it was a lot of sugar I put in my coffee….I thought…Hasn’t she been to other bakeries/coffee houses before( I always thought the two go hand in hand)??? I even told her I was a creamer& sugar with a little bit of coffee person….So weird!!!! If they’re gonna be like that… then why even have a store front???…Just have people order cakes and such on line….Who really wants to go into a bakery that doesn’t serve good coffee and/or milk/chocolate milk ???Quickly realize why the place was empty when I got there

I dont understand any of the bad reviews. The cherry rosebud I had here was hands down one of if not the best donut I have ever had and I lived accross from a bakery for years.
Granted this place is quaint, selection is minimal but execution was wonderful. I came in on a Wednesday around 930 and had the place to myself. The gal at the counter was polite if nothing else probably understandably bored.
Don’t expect the high volume and pizzazz of Grand Rapids but appreciate this for the local jem it is.

This is a small shop with high quality baked goods compared to what else is available locally. If you expect this to be your Walmart bakery with loads of whatever you want ready at any given time, you will be disappointed. If you want superior quality goods that taste like they should, you have found the right place.. Highly recommend the Danishes

‘Haans’ down best donuts I have ever eaten. There is a perfect “crisp” on the outside – and fillings are not too sweet. Highly recommend stopping in for a fresh donut and coffee!
