I’m lucky today. It’s warm outside so the outdoor tables are viable in this otherwise carry-out only restaurant.
A mix of Thai & Chinese cuisines are on offer with full descriptions for each entree.
Service is very quick as is the food preparation, it only took about three minutes for my order of Chicken Curry Pad Thai to be ready to go. So I went and parked my carcass at one of the three outdoor tables. (Anything is better than eating in the car)
As is often the case with Chinese restaurants, the meat really needed to be cut smaller. Other than that, it was delicious and appropriately spiced. Good stuff, Maynard.
My bill was just under $10 for lunch. Good deal, too.

What a great experience ordering take out at this restaurant! Wow!!! Such delicious food! Don’t even know where to start with the review !
The person who took my order was so nice and helpful, took her time explaining everything and was patient. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai , the Tom Kha soup , the curry pad Thai and the crab ragoons. Everything was so delicious! My favorite was the soup and the curry pad Thai but we all loved everything! Can’t wait to go back to try their other menu items !
Keep up the great work! We give you a 10 plus !

Trash Food, Trash Service – Stay Away

Another so-called “highly rated” Asian restaurant serving up straight garbage. Let me save you the mistake I made.

The food? Disgusting.
The service? Even worse.

I called to report the awful meal I received, and instead of any kind of accountability, the woman I spoke to told me it was my problem. No apology, no solution—just pure attitude and blame-shifting. Classy.

Let’s talk about the food:
• Sweet and Sour Chicken: A soggy, inedible mess. The chicken was drowning in sauce, so saturated the breading slid off like wet paper. Ever had meat slide out of mush? Now I have. Absolutely vile.
• Crab Rangoon: Not crispy. Not even close. Rubbery, stale, and lazy. Like someone microwaved it and hoped no one would notice.
• Egg Roll: Same story—rubbery and limp. Zero crunch. Zero flavor. Zero effort.
• Wonton Soup: Greasy, flavorless broth with gummy, overcooked wontons that tasted like they’d been soaking in hot water for hours. You’d get more taste chewing a napkin.

I live less than two miles away, so don’t even try to blame the drive. If your food can’t survive a 5-minute trip, you shouldn’t be in the takeout business.

And when I asked to return the meal? I was told to “throw it in the trash” because they weren’t offering a refund or credit. The only honest thing they said all night—because that’s exactly where this food belongs.

Do yourself a favor—skip this place. The food is trash. The service is trash. The entire experience was a waste of time, money, and appetite. They clearly don’t care about quality or customers. Shameful.

So far the best curry noodle I have had in Detroit area, small take out place with the best taste. Their hot food is flaming , so order your correct spice levels.

Haang’s Chinese was a place we stopped just because we were driving by.

We can be harsh when a restaurant isn’t good, but the food here is awesome.

This is a take out only with a few tables and chairs out side. It is right across from Walled Lake, so there is a decent view as a bonus

We had Moo Goo Gai Pan, and General Tso Chicken , and pork spring rolls.

Everything was cooked great, was all fresh, and the chicken portions were twice as much as you usually get with a Chinese meal.

Prices were reasonable too

The lady who took our order was very nice and it took 10 minutes to get the food.

It’s worth the stop if you want Chinese whether you are right in Walled Lake or need to drive a bit to get here

Wanted to find a good takeout place in the area from me. My husband chose this place out of random and I must say. This was phenomenal. The food was incredible, spicy, flavorful, well cooked. Just everything I hoped for.

Our server was so sweet and adorable and she made sure we had water. These prices cannot be beat! For what we paid, 2 dinners AND boba tea all for 27$ not including the tip.

This is definitely a hole in the wall and a must come too. Best thai food in the area!

I’ve gotten take out a few times but have only recently had the chance to dine in here. It’s a wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating across from the beach. The food is always delicious and the people are so nice. We often get food from here when entertaining guests from out-of-state and they always love it! Recommend the crab cheese (which is nice and crispy) and the drunken noodles.

Will always recommend this place. Their pad Thai is absolutely amazing. In the pictures the top is chicken pad Thai and the bottom is sesame chicken. Every time I try something new I’m always happy. edit: added picture of chicken lo mein with broccoli added.

Take out only restaurant. The chicken pad thai is the best i have been able to find anywhere. I go out of my way every time to hit this spot. I no longer live in this area and I still crave their food.
