The samosas were crisp and fresh, the biryani was aromatic and hearty, and the chops were cooked perfectly with great spice balance. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food.
But the real highlight for us was the chai. Rich, comforting, and exactly what you want to end a meal with—honestly worth coming just for that.
Great food, authentic flavors, and a cozy vibe. Definitely a place I’d come back to again and recommend to anyone looking for good Pakistani and Bengali cuisine.
We took a bus all the way from Times Square expecting a good meal, but this place was a complete letdown. The food was served cold, even after being microwaved. The place was dirty, the staff had a terrible attitude, and on top of everything, they overcharged us. If the food had at least been tasty, it might’ve been somewhat worth it — but it was completely bland. Definitely not worth the time, money, or effort. Would not recommend.
I ordered 4 chicken samosa they sent me 4 Aloo samosa.
I ordered 2 Roti’s they sent me 0 .
I ordered 1 Dahi Phulki they sent me a old and rotten Dahi Phulki.
I ordered 1 chicken biryani which was also to oily and seemed like the chicken was used from a previous dish .
I called them 4 times to try to resolve my order but every time they hangup on me with-in 30 seconds.
It is very disappointing that this Pakistani/ Bangladeshi business treats their own Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim community people very disrespectful and dishonest by cheating on them just for a few dollars and the very sad part is that even in the holy month of Ramadan they still rob their own Muslim community in the blessed month of Ramadan and they don’t even show any regret of their wrong doing.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone going or ordering any food from this place.
I PRAY TO ALLAH THAT THIS RESTAURANT GOES OUT OF BUSINESS SOONER THAN LATER BECAUSE THEY DISERVED IT. AMEEN
The restaurant itself looks very old, messy, and unhygienic. Restroom is not up-to the standard. The uninspiring look and feel of the restaurant diminishes it’s quality of product somewhat.
