First time visit 4/28/23. The server (family member) was personable and attentive. Their entrees were generous portions and allowed customization of proteins into the dish. We ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Fried Vietnamese Pork Egg Rolls, Moo Shu Stir Fry (with pork), Pad Thai (with chicken) – spice level 7/10, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp.
Everything we ordered was seasoned well, flaverful but not overly salted. We thought the Chicken Pad Thai was one of the best we’d ever tasted. The shrimp in the Honey Walnut Shrimp had a crispy coating (not too heavy/dense/thick) and the sauce was rich and creamy. The Moo Shu Stir Fry vegetables were cooked to perfect texture (tender with some crunch left).
The server said that spice level, salt level, sweetness of the iced coffee, batter thickness on the shrimp could all be customized to the customer’s request. We will definitely be back to try other dishes at this family run restaurant!

I always get a large wonton soup and spring rolls…..as I did this time but also added an order of sesame chicken. The soup and spring rolls were fine but the sesame chicken looked good but was mostly pieces of fried gristle most of the bites of chicken had to be spit out cuz it was impossible to chew….will not order again it was terrible!!!!!! I don’t think there’s actually any chicken in it just gristle and fried breading

I love their vermicelli noodle salad and egg rolls. The salad has so many fresh vegetables and it is perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The tofu has excellent flavor. It is such a nice restaurant with friendly staff.

Got an order of pho, egg rolls, general chicken, and vermicelli salad. What a waste of my money. The pho was like instant noodles. Very small portion. The general chicken was bland and stale. The vermicelli salad looked microwaved. Do yourself a favor and go to a chau instead of this place.

I rarely write reviews, but we recently moved to the area and desperately want to ensure this gem-of-a-restaurant stays strong. We will be weekly regulars here without question. It’s one of those places you want to promote but also want to be your own little secret. The service is friendly and precise, the food is fresh and flavorful, and it’s not the typical overly salty food you get at low-end places. My favorite is the Hu Tieu soup, my husband goes gaga for their Pho, and our children LOVE the orange chicken and the veg fried rice. We’re all so glad Ha Long Bay is in our neighborhood. Please eat here, give them your business, discover what real, authentic, delicious asian quisine tastes like, PLEASE!

My family and I love this Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant so much! It seems to be family owned and the owner himself is very kind. Their food is my go to for a last minute dinner when I don’t know what to make, I can always rely on Ha Long Bay! The food is delicious and the portions they provide are so filling and big. Everything is reasonably priced, no complaints with that. All the food is beautifully cooked well with such flavors and spices. Whenever I pick up the food everything is still crunchy, crispy, and hot! The young girl at the drive-thru window is a sweetheart and always asking if we ever need anything. She even gave us extra chilli oil or extra sweet and sour sauce when needed. I totally recommend this place you will not regret supporting small businesses.
