We love this little restaurant and have never been disappointed with their quality of food, quaint/clean atmosphere, and friendly service.
We discovered the restaurant during Covid lockdowns. It was one of the very few left open to the public during that time.
We wanted to support a business that would stand up to idiotic and unconstitutional state mandates and we will continue to do so.
Thank you, H&P Cafe for being here in Eastern Oregon (my home state) for locals to enjoy. We appreciate you.

H&P Cafe is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall, a necessary stop in the middle of a beautiful, but somewhat remote, stretch of Oregon. While the food itself wasn’t spectacular, it absolutely hit the spot after a long drive.
The prices were fair, and they certainly didn’t skimp on the servings; we walked away feeling fully satisfied thanks to the genuinely huge portions of comfort food.
Ultimately, H&P is a functional, satisfying stop when you need it most. While it won’t be my first choice if I were passing through that area again, if you are driving through, hungry, and looking for a dependable meal that offers decent value, this cafe definitely serves its purpose.

Cool older place, good prices. Bit of a longer wait, but the food is freshly made from scratch. Asked for extra crispy tots and they delivered. Guac bacon burger and all meat omelette were especially good.

Great place! I was in town visiting family and we came here for lunch. Fantastic prices and all the food we had was great. The man on charge seemed to know every person that came in and was frequently checked in on us. He also poured a mean beer .

Found this gem on Google and I am so glad I did! This quaint and cheery restaurant was fantastic! It’s not very big but the food and service makes it a definite stop next time I am in the area. I had an everything omelet. And it was just how I like it. Highly recommend this small town establishment.
