One of the hidden gems. 3 dollar taco Tuesday. Delicious. Scott told us all the best “to do” activities in this area. There were bikers (us) football players (nfl), boaters, tennis players, sports enthusiasts, young and middle (us) and senior. Can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah. The only 24 hour restaurant bar. Food was excellent, people were even better.

The Roadhouse has been around a while and it’s always been a fun place to stop. If you’re a smoker, you’ll love it because just about everyone else there is too. They keep the doors open when it’s nice and that keeps the smoke down to a minimum for those of us who like to breathe. Beyond that though, it’s a cool bar. They don’t have a kitchen but they do bring in free catered food occasionally, so that’s pretty cool. The stage is nice and roomy, so music is a given, especially on the weekends. We were there on an Open Mic day and the talent varied from Out-dang-standing to Ouch, but that’s okay too. Everyone deserves their chance at stardom, right? The bathrooms are roomy enough and clean, but I gotta say, I’m not a fan of The Trough in the men’s room. Separate urinals would be a serious plus, but it’s not a reason to stay away. The people are friendly, the prices reasonable. It’s a good bar and that’s a good thing.

We’re day-timers. Low key during the day. Btw? They pick a different charity each month. They serve great food, people make donations etc… It’s a wonderful way to give back!!! Sorry… can’t remember if it’s Saturdays/ Sundays when they cook for charity at the bar. Check out their page!!! THEIR PUDDING SHOTS ARE FREAKING AMAZING!!! The Jello shots are yummyl!! Service, staff & management? Outstanding!!!!

This place has always been my favorite bar even before I was old enough to drink. It’s changed a lot in the last 10 years, it used to be a hardcore biker dive bar. I still think it’s hardcore, but I feel a lot more welcome there nowadays!
