They are down a cook, so the baker needs to cook. Will call ahead next time to make sure giant doughnuts are available. Still had a good selection of delicious doughnuts and giant Pecan Rolls.

Nothing like this place!! Amazing is an understatement, top 5 best places in Michigan to eat. Definitely worth the trip from anywhere. New tradition for our family! Everything is homemade, owner even brings the eggs in from his local chickens.

They taste as good as they look, yes sir!

You’d never know by looking at the outside of this quaint little restaurant that you are walking into the World’s Largest Donut bakery! SO GOOD! We enjoyed sandwiches on HUGE HOMEMADE breads and hamburger buns. Service was great too! We live near a big city and have traveled a lot and have never seen anything like it. The locals don’t know how good they have it!

On the way home Sunday morning, the family and I wanted a simple country breakfast. Stopped here and was not disappointed. Easy going place, not “maskholes” at all! Country style with laid back atmosphere, had a wonderful breakfast that filled us up and was good all day long. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Loved the raisin bread toast I had with my meal. When riding back over (we ride motorcycle), will definitely stop back in, and with fellow riders as well. Thank you all so much!

I also work for breakfast driven corporate company that is in Cadillac and several other towns across Northern Michigan I make the kind of food that they make their every single day. people absolutely know what they’re doing when it comes to food. Fantastic authentic restaurant. Donuts alone are worth stopping and the cinnamon rolls are a day’s meal by themselves. The food is amazing, and the portions are friendly to those of us with “tactical girth”. Wait staff are the standard by which all others should be measured. It is the local hangout and you get the feeling Opie and Andy will come in any minute. They take credit cards now also.
