I don’t know what the cashier’s issue was tonight, but she clearly didn’t want to be there. I didn’t catch her name, but she was the Light-Skinned Woman with Red-Tinted Curly Hair working this evening (10/14). I went up to the counter asked to buy a Big Cookie (specifically). She asked me, “What kind?” and I said, “Oatmeal”. I paid and then she walked over to the cookie case and handed me a Regular-Sized Chocolate Chip Cookie instead — not what I asked for.

To be fair, this was my first time buying anything here and I didn’t know the price difference between the big and regular cookies, or I probably would’ve realized the mistake sooner. But honestly, the whole interaction was uncomfortable. You could just tell she didn’t want to be there. She looked irritated and like she didn’t want to be bothered. I didn’t even have the energy to correct her about my order because it was clear she just didn’t care.

If this is the kind of service customers get, especially first-timers, it’s not a good look. Maybe don’t have someone that unfriendly as the first face people see — it definitely leaves a bad impression.
