Food was absolutely delicious, took about 10-15 minutes to come out. Mongolian Beef was extremely tender paired with flavorful veggies. The Westlake Beef Soup was as warming as it was tasty. Lastly, the Salt and Pepper Squid held the biggest suprise— served without sauce, though I would soon realize that it needed none. Our server was polite and attentive, great experience.

A real gem of a Cantonese cooking. Food was really hot. You can taste the “wok hei” in the food. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely coming again. Will also get take out here.

Some of the best Cantonese food I’ve ever had. Very fresh, including things like fresh wood ear mushrooms in one dish i ordered, fresh Snow Pea Greens with Garlic, etc. All other patrons speaking Chinese (I don’t know which dialect but that only made the food taste better) Some standard offerings like Peking Duck, but many I’d never heard of and an extensive menu. I’ll definitely be back!

H Bistro is an absolute sleeper in the ID. It is honestly one of my favorite places that whip up Hong Kong dishes that I’ve ever been to.

A Chinese Restaurant that do tasty Chinese dishes that is beyond the typical Chinese American fare. Look out specially for the stew pork and steam chicken dishes. These has a more authentic Asian taste to the dishes. If you thinking of ordering fish dishes you will need to order ahead.

I decided to try out this place based on amazing Google reviews since the food pickup experience at my fav Cantonese restaurant (Hong Kong Bistro) has been iffy the past couple of times. I placed an order for delivery through Chowbus for beef short ribs with black pepper sauce, honey walnut prawns and kung pao chicken.

Yummy! We got the beef chow fun, honey walnut shrimp, bitter melon salted egg yolk, and eggplant/salted fish clay pot. Beef chow fun was perfectly cooked and flavored with the wok-char. The shrimp were light and crispy, and it was light on the mayo and not too sweet. I couldn’t eat the bitter melon because the salted egg yolk flavor was really gamey, but my friend said that it normally tastes like that because that’s how salted duck egg yolk tastes like. It also tasted slightly metallic from the baking soda they used to draw out the bitterness. Next time I would order the bitter melon with black bean sauce because the bitter melon itself was perfectly cooked. The eggplant dish was delicious as well. The restaurant was nice and clean and the server wore a mask which I always appreciate. Will come again
