We ordered a variety of meats as well as appetizers and sashimi. The appetizers were pretty solid. I enjoyed their seaweed salad and seafood pancake. Although their takoyaki was good, I felt like it was a bit too oily. The meat was alright. Although they had good sauces and spices to dip it in, I felt like the quality was a bit too tough for me. The sushi/sashimi was good—better than I expected! Our favorite cut of the night actually ended up being the garlic shrimp. I ended my meal with their jelly appetizer/dessert. Wish there were more options for their AYCE package, but overall, not bad!
We were impressed how helpful the staff was as it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy.
The meat was tender need to be cooked well and the entrees lack something that we cannot put my stamp on.
barely serve you at all, refilled water and just dump food on ur table. Kid saw a rat by the kitchen under the cart, my kid is 6 and she tried to chase it lol. When she told the staff about the sighting (not to confront but to let them know that she saw one) , the staff just looked the other way with no response.
lunch which is sorta worth it for the AYCE part, options extremely limited but for the price in the 20s isn’t to bad. Service is basic just take and come with the dishes, and one perk is you get your own booth so you get privacy
Meats – 3/10
Sushi – 5/10
Others – 3/10
Dinner for 50$ (60ish after tax/tip) not worth (avoid), the only difference between lunch and dinner is the sashimi, and that’s extremely limited and quality of fish is subpar at best… (a lot of better places for dinner but if no choice might as well) only reason I came was I got influenced because it said “AYCD sake tuesdays” and I guess it wasn’t the case
The good:
– our service was quick, when we ordered, it was out to us very fast.
– service was good.
– decent sashimi and sushi
– the BBQ meats was good as well.
The not so good:
– I can’t really find any fault with this place, the only exception was a personal one, hard to eat both Sashimi and BBQ at 1 sitting.
Overall: very good value for the price, decent quality of both fish and meats at all you can have for 50$. For me personally, it was tough to have both kinds of food at one single sitting, if you have the stomach for it, this place is a good value for the quantity and quality of food.
Update : 9/14/2025 -> still coming here, at $50, it’s still IMO the best deal for sashimi AYCE, i just personally cannot do BBQ protein and raw proteins in the same meal, so when i come here, i primarily do sashimi and grill a bit o mushrooms and corn.
As an alternative to a very large surf and turf @ $50, they have a weekday lunch special, for $30 that has 3 sushi rolls, eel, salmon and california, and a few limited BBQ meats, and most of the fried stuff available, not a bad reduced price and selection.
Everything we had was very fresh! They were able to accommodate us although we did not have a reservation. Happy about that. The space is cute, and the bathroom was clean.
They do limit the length of time you can place orders, so get what you feel you need promptly. Some of the meat dishes have a marinade on them and I loved that. The other meats didn’t have seasoning but there is a powdered seasoning and some sauces at the table. I do wish the menu had more vegetable items – they were very limited. Also, having fried rice and a dessert menu would be neat.
Perfect for a group because the price is fixed, especially with the Tuesday night deal that includes select beverages.
