Updated. Because of very good experience of last time, come back the 2nd time. However it was quite disappointing, all because the lamb chop was just warmly instead of flamely hot. The peta bread was very cold, seemed just out of frig . This was quite disappointing in a cold night. Service wise, you don’t get much, not even asked if we need re-fill or how it was going.

I went for the first time last night, and was impressed from beginning to end. We both had souvlaki plates with a beer. $42 for two huge plates of food and two beers.
The salad was fresh, the tzatziki sauce perfect, and my grilled chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I’ll definitely be back to try the moussaka!

It can be a bit difficult to find parking, as all street metered pay parking is available, but the food here is amazing. In my opinion, the best Greek food in town.

Heard a promo for this place on public radio and stopped by to try it out. We were very impressed! The food was very tasty and a great value. You order at the counter and then sit at a table with a number; they deliver your meal to you when it is ready. Everyone there was kind and attentive! We liked the ambiance. New in town, we’ve been looking for tasty Greek food in ABQ (missing our favorite spot where we moved from) and have been disappointed up to now: but this place satisfied, and with great pricing! We might wish for a few more things on the menu, but they offer specials that include some more exotic offerings, beyond the standards. I was impressed with the tomato-and-red-wine braised lamb shank special, and my wife enjoyed her vegetarian moussaka, something she’s not had since we got here. Highly recommended!

Excellent Food, Flavors, and atmosphere! If you have not eaten at this restaurant, this is a definite must try!! Food prices are EXCELLENT!!! Tried the Mixed Grill Plate and a Souvlaki Plate with ribeye steak meat and Lamb!!!! So tasty!!!!! Had the baklava sundae, YUM!!!!!

My 1st time eating here and I was impressed. Only downside was not being able to pronounce many of the menu items so I didn’t even know what those food items were. Employees were great, food was excellent & I can’t wait to return!

-the potato chips was soggy
– the Pastito(pasta) tasted different- had a very specific flavor/ spice that we didn’t like.
-the person taking care of our order didn’t come to check if we needed anything.
Overall- the place was ok- won’t go again.

Stopped by for the first time today and will definitely be back for more! The vibe here is fantastic and the menu is full of delicious choices. I’m excited to try them all! The falafel, hummus and pita were my favorite things today, but everything was tasty. I brought home baklava and soup for later and both were on point. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about this gem of a restaurant. Well done, Gyros Mediterranean! This place is perfection.
