The gyro’s were great! Very fresh vegetables and the pita was soft. The meat was tender and had a good flavor. The restaurant is not big. There are about 5 small tables. The parking lot can be tricky at night, due to the big crowd at Buffalo Wild Wings. There is parking in the back. The reason I marked it off for atmosphere is because the woman’s bathroom had no toilet paper, no soap, and no paper towels. I told the two men behind the counter but the problem was not corrected.
Update to my review… I visited on 3/9/25 when the restaurant opened. They literally have a sign, from the CDC, telling you to wash your hands after using the toilet. (See pictures.) Yet, it was the same issue as before. No toilet paper, no soap, and no towels to dry your hands. Really? How are the employees washing their hands? That’s just GROSS! When I asked the male employee for some hand towels, he looked at me like he was super annoyed and didn’t say anything. The restroom was not stocked with toiletries. The owner/manager said she would take care of this problem the last time I wrote a review, but apparently it’s not going to happen.

The inside of the restaurant was clean and well organized. The most interesting part was the gyro king comic story on the wall on the back. I think a better use would be to have that comic strip in the front of the store. Food was divine and friend said it was the best gyro he’d ever had and he compared/stated better than gyros he’s tried even in Athens, Greece! It surely had the taste of a 5/5, I put a 4/5 because of the broken and crumbing pita that my traditional gyro came on. The yogurt sauce they have is excellent in portion, texture, and garlic. Would go back. Do not get the macarons if you’re used mud to higher level quality macarons and these crumbled and were hard. The baklava was delicious though!

I’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed the food, so this most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered my usual bowl — lamb over rice with extra sauce. The cashier says white or red and we say white. In all my prior visits, the bowl never came with hot sauce on top, so I was surprised when this one did. My bf and I can’t tolerate spicy food so he went back in alone and asked for it to be remade and was denied. It’s very rare we ask for food to be remade but given how spicy it was I went in to try.
The staff member told me “like I told the other guy” that because I hadn’t specifically asked not to add hot sauce, he couldn’t remake it. I explained that my previous bowls never had hot sauce, so I genuinely didn’t know it was considered a default. Still, he refused to remake it. I eventually asked if I could just scrape the sauce off and get more white sauce, which he did accommodate.
I understand if certain items come standard, but the unwillingness to help over a small, easily fixable mistake was surprising, especially compared to most restaurants or franchises that would quickly remake a dish in this situation. The “no returns, exchanges only” policy and the fact that they don’t give receipts also make the customer experience feel less flexible.
The food is good, but be aware that they won’t remake an item even if it’s not what you expected

I came here because I’m a huge fan of their food cart on Old Spanish Trail, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing. The portion size was small, especially the salad, and the rice was hard. The service was quick, but that was likely because there were no other customers at the time. I hope this was just an off day, because I’ve really enjoyed their food in the past.

If I could rate this place less than 1 star i would. Twice now they seriously screwed up my order. This time I was even screwed over on my gyro fries. Sauce was added to the gyro even though it was stated sauce “on the side” due to me having a sensitive stomach for it. I will never recommend this place ever again! Thanks gyro king for screwing me out of 30 bucks for food you didn’t even provide. Thieves.

The food was phenomenal and we had a great experience dining in! The store is well lit, with modern tables, chairs, and wall art. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by staff. It was our first time here, and they let us sample the lamb and chicken, both of which were very flavorful and simply delicious. We ordered lamb over rice platters, featuring all the salad components and sauce. Portions were great, the food was filling, and everything was seasoned perfectly. I have a food allergy and let staff know, and they were very responsive to avoid contamination. I can’t wait to go back! Will plan to dine in, as it was such a comfortable experience.

Food quality: couldn’t tell you didn’t get it. After 15-20 mins waiting the one employee that they had working (heard someone else in the back) hadn’t even started my order which was a Gyro with fries. Cancelled my order and got nothing except the expected attitude about how busy he is. That fine just cancel the order and refund me I’ll move on. He did have to charge me $1.59 for partial drank soda. They had no AC working but had a fan running to cool it down a degree.
