A very good restaurant for Mediterranean and Turkish food.Freshly cooked or prepared, tasty and hygienic.We tried Mixed Gyro Platter ( Bulgur included), Chicken kebab with bulgur & salad,Mixed wrap with myo sauce/ potato fries.All things were delicious; however, goat kebab had smell.The building and furniture is average.Front desk staff cooperative.Cooking section was noisy.Prices reasonable and should be maintained at same level.Baked bread and Kahwa ( tea) were also delicious .

Gyro and Kebab House of Norwood has the best tasting food. The bread is freshly made and goes perfectly with the generously portioned hummus. The gyros are excellent as is the rice and salad that is served alongside. There is complimentary Turkish tea to accompany your meal. The trays of various baklavas will tempt you into ordering dessert. The restaurant is counter service and the staff bring the food to your table. If you are in the Norwood area and are looking for reasonably priced and delicious Middle Eastern food, give the Gyro and Kebab House a try.

You order at the counter then snag a table, and before you know it, warm Turkish bread lands with a side of yogurt and hot sauce. Now let me tell you, this bread is next-level. Fresh, puffy, and it’s never been anything but perfect. Try it with the spicy dip, and you’re in for a treat.
When it comes to the main event, I’m a creature of habit. I go for the mixed grill plate, with an extra kick of jalapenos. The gyro is a taste knockout, and the beef and lamb kebabs are seasoned so well you’d think they had a PhD in flavor. Then there’s the chicken kebab – tender, juicy, and full of seasoning. The shawarmas were ok not the best. I expected a nice Mediterranean salad in the side but they served French fries. We ordered 5 shawarmas for $65. It the service was average. Overall, just ok.

We went there for lunch yesterday and will not be going again sadly. This is partially because of the lack of service this restaurant has. The servers refuse to greet you or take your order. They don’t even bother bringing water to your table. If you want something you have to go and ask for it, which would have been fine had this been a fast food restaurant but it’s not. The food also didn’t taste great. The bread that they bring in the beginning had a distinct smell which I couldn’t quite put my finger on. It was fresh, so no complains on the freshness of it.
The red sauce served with the bread was horrible. The tzatziki like white sauce was good. The food itself was ordinary especially given its price. I have had much better Turkish food in the same amount from better restaurants. We ordered the mix platter and the chicken platter the chicken shish kebab were grilled to perfection. 10/10 on that. However, I’m not impressed with the sides it comes with. The lamb in the mix platter had a smell in it which I didn’t like and hence I stopped eating that.
The restaurant itself is also not properly maintained. The leather on the couch like seating area has completely come off. I wished they’d pay more attention to their service and train their staff better.

Hard to find a place that uses fresh ingredients and delivers on the fine Turkish dining experience. We enjoyed every dish & dessert we ordered and warmly recommended. I felt the $$ to food ratio is a bit high but guess it’s inflation everywhere these days!
