Bruno’s Pizza & Wings is just about the best place I have eating in a long time and that’s really hard to do as a pizza joint! For me, it’s difficult to screw up pizza. Any pizza place you go, they have their own unique taste but everything for the most part is good. Bruno’s takes pizza to the highest and best notch possible in my opinion. The crust is their key! I’m not much of a crust guy but Bruno’s is able to make a thinner crust where the pizza ingredients sit and the crust itself is a puffier crunchier crush that surpasses all the competition. All of the ingredients are fresh and tasty. They even sliced up fresh jalapeños for one of our pizzas instead of using pickles jalapeños like everyone else does. As long as I go back to Raton, NM, I will always stop in at Bruno’s Pizza & Wings at least once!

Got a hotel in Raton while in route on vacation to Colorado. Was looking for pizza and stumbled across Bruno’s on google. Reading the reviews I knew this place was going to be special. Let me tell you this is some of the best if not the best Pizza I’ve ever had! Not only that but the BBQ wings were top notch. The ranch is a must as it’s 100% the best ranch I’ve ever had. Then to top it all off the employees were so customer service oriented it was amazing! 1000/10 recommend and will be talking about this place forever. Stay amazing Bruno’s!

On our way from Austin to Colorado Springs, coming off the desolate 87 highway from Texas into Raton, my 11 year old finds this spot to grab a bite by looking at Google maps. Turned out to be an amazing pizza spot. We’re food snobs as most Austinites, and man this was good. Rivaled our favorite back home, Homeslice Pizza. Had the basic pepperoni and some pepperoni rolls and both were great. Awesome crust and sauce. The rolls could have been baked a little more but that’s just being picky. Definitely a must if you’re in the area!

We stopped in Friday night, and they were super busy but still provided fantastic food and equally great service. We had the jalapeño popper pizza (+ chicken) and it was one of the best pies I’ve had in awhile – the dough was the best I’ve had in years! The boneless wings were pretty good, and my wife loved her cranberry salad, though she said it could’ve used a touch more dressing. All in all, we’ll be back for sure. And a BIG shout out to the Friday night crew – they were amazing!

Meat lovers Bruno special – wow. 1 pepperoni, 1 sausage piece and a lot verges per slice – really horrible pizza. Should call it the 1 meat piece pizza. 1 star is too much.

Haven’t had a good pizza like that in quite a while. The place was bigger than I thought and packed! Got a couple of really good-sized pizzas for 3. The Bruno’s special was my best friends and I’s favorite! And the fried pickles were delicious. Crust was crunchy and soft, absolutely delicious. I’m excited to bring more friends to try it out.

My family and I stopped in while on a road trip and honestly didn’t expect much, but boy were we impressed! The pizza is some of the best we’ve had (this is verified by my mom who is Italian and from NY). The atmosphere is super cute, very cozy and like a time machine with all the decor! If we ever happen to drive by again we’ll be sure to stop at Bruno’s.

We were passing through and needed some food. Always good to support local. Good pizza. The Bruno special was defiantly fresh. Service was great and the place constantly had people coming in. With the stop if you want pizza!

My family stopped at Bruno’s on our way to Albuquerque from Wyoming. We arrived on Sunday around half past noon and it was busy, but we were seated right away. The food blew our minds and the service was superb. The atmosphere was casual and homey, and everyone, patrons and employees alike, seemed happy to be there. The pizza was the best I’ve had since I moved away from my Sicilian godmother’s town in Texas. This is really fresh, authentic Italian food that tasted like they really care about their customers’ culinary joy in every bite. I will definitely try to come back again, despite the 7-hour drive!!!

There are some places I am reluctant to disclose, for fear they get “discovered” and ruined in the process; this is one. This was our 2nd visit, and my impression was the same as the first: unpretentious setting, friendly, good service, and a pizza I wish was more convenient for me to get more often. Key: a perfect crust, slight crunchy on the outside, yet delightfully chewy and enjoyable. Some may think it too doughy, but also might think heaven is too nice. The Italian sausage topping is legit, and I think the sauce/cheese ratio is spot on. Will happily return when we pass through at lunch time. Shhh…let’s keep this between us.
