I have gone here a few times over the years and the food has just gone down the road. Today I ordered the 3 pc box and got these tiny little 3 pc chickens as the 3 pc combo. They also tasted bad and the fries were overcooked. Extremely disappointed in the service today

Mostly drive-thru service but there are a couple of small tables. The chicken fingers are good but on the small side. I had 6 for dinner and could of had more. Fries are good but didn’t travel well. Coleslaw is good, I would get it again. The Texas toast is good but not hot. I will definitely try it again, the sauce is great I would recommend getting extra fir fry dipping. Thank you Guthries for hiring such good staff. The drive thru attendant was great. Happy, friendly and attentive. Over all I definitely would recommend.

Stopped in this evening. First time at this location and I was very pleased with the box! I frequently ate at the one that was in Athens in early 90s.
Y’all still got it going on! Customer service was good too. I was greeted and felt welcomed in the drive thru.

Guthries is awesome and since they were around 25 years before Zaxbys I can see where Zaxbys “got” their ideas from for the tenders, fries, toast, and even the sauce.
Very glad I stopped and tried Guthries. Will be back again. My wife destroyed the toast before I could even get a picture of it.

The first ever trip to Guthrie’s was great! Our group of 14 shared two of the tail gate specials. There was plenty of food for everyone with leftovers. The tenders and fries were cooked fresh – the dipping sauce was great, and the sweet tea is just like grandma fixed it! I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick, delicious meal. My only complaint would be the lack of seating in the dining room, the one table and booth is disappointing.

I really did enjoy my sandwich. My husband enjoyed his plate of fingers. Their sauce is simular to zaxbys. The service was quick and fresh which is always GREAT! Definitely will be back!

Was here before and it was very good however this time was not the case. I ordered 3 tenders ala cart. 1.69 each and a med tea. My bill was 7.98. The tenders were about 2.5 inches long and barely the size of my thumb.

I guess this is a drive-thru spot. They only have one both in the building. The food hard and has too much salt. The people are really friendly though and kind. I haven’t been to a Guthrie’s since it left Athens in the 90s. So I really wanted to try it. Nothing like I remember but maybe it could be if they changed the grease and not overcook it.
