Sometimes when you come to a fast food place an hour before closing, you might get subpar service. Well, that’s not the case here at Gutheries. Tez was extremely kind and you could hear his enthusiasm in his voice during every step of my drive thru order. He truly carried himself professionally and it was a great experience for a fast food restaurant. As I drove off I realized how great of an experience that I just experienced that I reversed through the drive thru to make sure I got his name for this review. Truly a great employee who carried himself exceptionally well.

I eat here all the time so I’m not sure what happened, I don’t know if I got one of the employees food by accident or what but as I opened my food I noticed that all of my fries were the tip ends of the fries as if someone bit the fries and threw the end pieces back in the box and at first I thought maybe the fries were just broken like that but a lot of the fries had literal teeth marks in them and I noticed them after I already ate a few. Also it was a long hair strand in my food so I’m not sure if the cooks aren’t wearing a hairnet. But this was the most disgusting thing I have witnessed from a fast food restaurant and I didn’t call and tell anyone cause I already was all the way home and decided to take the L but this is horrible. I definitely wouldn’t come to this location again. Eat at your own risk.

I am so disappointed in this location. The first time I went a few months ago, the food was mediocre. The fries and chicken were bland. I figured it was just a bad night. Fast forward to 1/13, and it was not good again. Literally everything was bland, even the toast. Speaking of which was not Texas Toast. Not sure what type of bread it was, but it was DEFINITELY not that. Unfortunately that was a waste of $12.

I stopped in on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—seasoned just right with that crave-worthy flavor you can’t get anywhere else. The service was fast and super friendly, and everything came out hot and fresh.
I also tried the fries and dipping sauces—total game changers. You can tell they care about quality, even for a fast food spot. Clean dining area, quick turnaround, and great prices.
I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving some seriously good chicken! I had great servers that included : Issac, Mason, Tyler, Makayla

had a disappointing experience when ordering my food today. The employee taking my order was rude and impatient, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was polite and just trying to order, but I felt rushed and talked down to. The food itself was great, but the customer service really needs improvement. I hope management addresses this so future customers have a better experience. The worker was a short haired white female. Every other experience at this restaurant was amazing. So my family loves to get fried chicken after church, baseball practice and games. We’ve been going to Zaxby’s over the years and their food along with their service has deteriorated so bad that we have to go elsewhere. I’m happy that Guthrie’s had opened because that’s where we all go now!
The only issue really we have is the French fries could look a little better or bigger portion size. Other then that great place to eat!
