This was my first time trying Guthrie’s. The service was great. The food was okay. The fries were hot and crisp which was great. I have had much better chicken tenders. All and I would rate the food as average due to the excellent fries.

I was extremely disappointed with my first experience at Guthrie’s. I specifically asked if the chicken was cooked fresh, and was assured that it was — but what I received was dry, overly dark chicken that clearly had been re-fried or held too long. The texture and color made it obvious the chicken was not fresh.
This was one of the worst chicken meals I’ve had from a place like this, and honestly it has ruined my desire to ever return. Quality and honesty matter — and this visit delivered neither. I will not be back.

Food is nothing spectacular. I visited on a Monday around 11:30am and was served cold food. The tenders were tiny, and the fries didn’t impress me. I thought going right at lunch food would be the right choice but it was not. Definitely wasn’t worth the $11 I paid and I won’t be returning. Guess this is what happens when you believe the hype. The staff was polite and friendly but serving me cold food isnt good service and the reason they get 3 stars.

The staff is still learning, but they were friendly, and there was a good teamwork vibe. The food was fresh and fast. The coleslaw is delicious, fries were crispy, bread was buttery, and the chicken was juicy and crunchy. The sweet tea has just the right amount of sweetness.

Went here today with my Granddaughter to grab lunch and support the new business in the area. The first thing I noticed was the limited menu items, and the higher price compare to a Zaxby’s (my normal chicken tender place). That could be the business model. They had no kid meals, and no meals that included a drink. I didn’t get a picture of the drive-thru menu, but I think it was a snack with 3 tenders, and fries, box with 5 oz chicken tenders, fries, cole slaw, and toast, and bulk chicken tenders. I got my Granddaughter the snack, and myself the box. I subbed out both Guthrie’s sauce for honey mustard, and subbed my cole slaw for extra fries. My Granddaughter said the honey mustard had a kick to it, and I didn’t notice a little heat, nothing major. The service was not too slow, and not fast, as this was expected since they have not been opened that long. Staff was friendly. I would have gave 5 stars, but the limited menu and not having drinks with a meal was the decision on that. I’m not sure if I’ll go back, since I get more bang for my buck at Zaxby’s. I recommend you all try them, and give your experience. They also should be a good choice if you are feeding a lot of people to get the bucket of chicken tenders.

Chicken is surprisingly good. WAY better than the flavor-less stuff at Raising Cane’s. Could the place use some color to help differentiate it? Yes, but the chicken is good for the price. Try the $9 three-piece combo and you won’t regret it

I have eaten at several Guthrie’s all over Florida before this location opened up. The customer service here was great and staff was friendly. Food was decent and wasn’t anything special. If you have never eaten here before it will be good to try for sure. Just not a first choice for chicken tenders in the area in my opinion
