Second time trying Guthrie’s in Lanett! Nice young lady took my order inside! I guess it’s cooked to order because it took 10-15 minutes to get my order to go!
Chicken has a great flavor and the fries were good too! I love Cole Slaw but there’s isn’t all that good! It isn’t chopped but more sliced and has a vinegary taste to it! May give it another try next time!

We ended up accidently finding some of the best chicken your ever gunna be howling for guaranteed, take the check to the bank.
The staff was incredible, friendly, and fast. The facilities were immaculately cleaned. Even all the condiments were fully stocked and pleasantly arranged.
We have been to a few Guthrie’s and we are always blown away but this was the best .

Giving it 5 star across the board because the food was THAT good. The staff was not friendly. Our clerk wouldn’t even look at me when I placed our order but that’s ok. I’ll forgive all of that because the food was PERFECT. If you’re a Zaxby’s fan, you won’t be, after eating at Guthrie’s. Everything about Zaxby’s OG menu is a complete copycat of Guthrie’s except Guthrie’s did it better. Gutherie’s was established in 1965. Zaxby’s, 1990.
Guthrie’s chicken had a way better batter, was juicy and actually broke apart when you got it. It also wasn’t super salty. Zaxby’s chicken bends, it’s always dry, no matter what chain you go to, and, it’s SO salty.
Guthrie’s fries were better cooked, signature sauce was WAY BETTER than Zax sauce, and the coleslaw was PERFECT. Toast was also fresh and not what we call, “Zaxby’s Stale…”
Just found out that a Guthrie’s opened locally and we hope it puts the neighborhood Zaxby’s out of business. LONG LIVE THE ORIGINAL CHICKEN TENDER CREATOR. Gutherie’s made us a believer.

Traveling through Valley/Lanett area for work. Needed a quick place to stop for lunch. Familiar with Guthries – so I was glad to find this location. Extremely fresh! Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean (spotless) dining area. And as always, delicious guthries chicken fingers! Honestly, I can’t imagine you finding something better in this area.

My fiance and I pulled up to Guthrie’s in a rave to see what all the hype was about. We were told that it tasted like Zaxby’s so of course we were thrilled to try it. The lady took our order and we pulled around to pay it was 2 cars in front of us and they moved fairly fast which was a plus. We got one box a piece which includes 5 chicken tenders, fries, slaw, Texas toast, and sauce. There is no drink included. Mind you this meal costs 9.09 a piece. We got home and tasted our food…. It was very mediocre and I wasn’t impressed. My sauce was supposed to be similar to Zax sauce and it wasn’t. It was very salty. I had to doctor on my sauce. I am glad we tried it but I won’t be back….

We came in on Sunday May 11th Mother’s Day about 3:45pm! The store was spotless and the staff was fantastic! They served us delicious hot food and were so helpful with anything we needed. Such a joy to visit we will be back to visit again!!!
