I had the best experience at Guthrie’s today thanks to the sweetest girl working there in the drive thru . She had such a kind heart and the most positive, genuine nature. This is the best Guthrie’s I’ve ever been to!
The food was so fresh and delicious, and service was 10/10. We were in town for the auburn Georgia game and came thru the drive thru late – me and two kiddos. We were pleased to meet the sweetest young lady, Lauren who happened to be working the drive-thru. She was so so sweet and went overboard to make all accommodations for our party and even helped me with directions when I called over the phone in route! I cannot go on enough about how amazing she was and how happy we were with our experience here. 10/10 recommend this location to anyone in the area or coming from out of town! Wish there were more people like her in the world it would sure be a better place! 🙂

Over the past few months, I’ve had to start checking my order before I drive away. I started doing this because twice in a row it was wrong once I got home and opened my box to eat. I’m not sure why but every time either the slaw is missing or the toast is missing or the extra sauce I paid for is missing. Last night it was late and dark. Been a long day. So I quickly opened my box at the window and could see everything appeared to be in the box. Got home and found the chicken was badly burned. Why on earth would they serve that? And my cup of slaw looked half eaten. I love Guthries and keep going back for more but good grief. I just picked at the chicken, ate what was left in the cup of slaw and went to bed. Perhaps it’s just this particular location. I’ve mentioned it before to them but I don’t think anyone working there really cares. And that’s okay but they’re sending a bad message out to customers in Opelika.
