I haven’t eaten Guthries in a long time. Used to be a favorite, but the new “texas toast” is hardly “toast”. It does not taste good, looks like a hot dog bun, is chewy & thick instead of crunchy like the former toast, and just not good.

Chicken tenders are awesome. Sauce is awesome. Crinkle fries and bread are good. Slaw is creamy with a slight vinegar flavor. It is good. Food is made fresh when you order so you will wait a few minutes., but not long.

First visit. I agree with the other reviews in terms of the staff. They are very polite and professional. I would rate the chicken tenders as C plus at best. Very average and salty. The coleslaw is wet mushy with not much taste. Ugh terrible.

I am a regular customer at the Guthries in Prattville. All of the employees are super friendly and caring! They all know me by name and go out of their way to make me feel welcome! Simply stated, THE MENU IS SIMPLY TENDERS AND FRIES…I tell ya, the TENDERS ARE HOT, TASTEFUL, AND CRISPY AND FRESH. THe tea IS AMONG THE BEST…I love HOT FRIES and theirs are YUMMIE.

This was the first time we ate here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The chicken tenders were cooked and so tender. The thing we didn’t like was the coating of the chicken as well as the sauce. Too salty for us. But we did get some bbq sauce and that helped.

Great food- the fingers and sauce cannot be best! The prices are a little more expensive than a typical fast food place. If you’re in a big hurry, the drive through window is not going to be ideal
