Such a great place, perfect food, really nice atmosphere. Eat under an ancient oak tree surrounded by color and a little whimsy. The plantain boat is to die for, perfectly cooked and the empanadas are the best outside of Tampa I’ve had. We’ll definitely be going back!

Eni was fantastic and helped us figure out what we would get, and they were some incredibly delectable empanadas. I loved the vegetable empanada and my husband has declared the beef with cheese his favorite. I also ordered the Tropical Juice and it did not disappoint! It tasted like i was eating fruit fresh from the vine. Big shoutout to Eni for great service and help deciding what to order!

For the ones who like to support local, let me tell you about this amazing hidden little spot in Hernando. We have tried almost their whole menu and everything was fantastic and flavorful. The empanadas and juices are amazing. Large food portion. The owners are super nice and always welcoming. Definitely recommend checking them out! Their outdoor seating is unique and leads to the withlacoochie bike trail.

A hidden gem In this county. Adorable atmosphere, absolutely table-slamminfly good food. Then juice options are made of real fruit, the empanadas are perfect, and their plantain boat was fresh and indulgent. We won’t have to drive all the way to Tampa for damned good Caribbean cuisine!

Absolutely one of the best empanadas I’ve ever had the happy fries are also quite good. You just need to be prepared to wait so take your time. If you don’t have time call it in ahead of time. This is right on the trail so you can ride your bike right up to it and there’s nice tables outside to sit at so you can bring the dogs.

Absolutely a new hidden gem that has an outdoor cantina style to it of it’s own. The ambiance and decor is different than you would expect here and I love it! Reminds me of Hialeah mom & pop places of old.

While strolling down the Withlacoochee State Trail, we decided to take a quick pit stop for a bite. My friend raved about their empanadas, so naturally, we had to try them. We went with the beef and egg (because, as any Argentinian knows, that’s the real deal—none of that cheese nonsense) and a veggie option.
Each came with its own dipping sauce, but honestly? We didn’t need any stinking sauce—we went in naked! That said, we did sneak a taste, and yep, those sauces were deliciously Americanized.
The service? Top-notch. Friendly, welcoming, and served with a big smile. The place itself? Bright, colorful, and totally charming.
If you’re on the trail, or not, do yourself a favor—make the stop. You won’t regret it!

We stopped for a quick snack before heading back home (Clermont) and we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I have never had such a delicious empanadas before. We tried chicken, beef, pizza, and an amazing 3 meats one. They were all just delicious. Umm and the cheese and guava dessert one… can’t say more. They are just perfect. We are definitely coming back as often as possible.
