Such a letdown tonight. Usually have a great experience, even with takeout. My chicken parm was burnt crisp. Totally inedible. There was no chicken in my husband’s chicken pesto dish. Waste of money. There is no way someone didn’t know how bad this was when it was being prepared.

Great high fire pizza that have high quality toppings. Salads are really good. The subs are decent but a little small for the money. Service is good and friendly. The atmosphere is casual and clean so typical of what you might find in a strip mall. The salads do seem to have shrunk since they opening but are still good.

We recently had dinner at Gusto Pizzeria and really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming—stylish without feeling pretentious—and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish.
I went with the Americana pizza, which had a solid flavor overall. It was definitely on the cheesier side, which may appeal to some more than others. The drizzle of honey on top added an interesting twist—it wasn’t overly sweet or thick, just a unique flavor that I haven’t typically had on pizza. It’s one of those things you might either love or be on the fence about, but I appreciated the creativity.
We also tried the vanilla gelato for dessert, and that was a win—smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. A great way to finish the meal.
My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but the texture of the meat was a bit off. It didn’t seem like it had been cooked down in the sauce; instead, it felt more like pre-cooked meatballs that were broken up and added in at the end. Not the worst, but not as cohesive or tender as we’d hoped.
All in all, it was a good experience. While a couple of the food items didn’t quite hit the mark for us, the great service and warm atmosphere made it a place we’d consider trying again—especially to sample a few other menu items.
Edit: after coming back for a few different dishes, we love the place and frequent often.

Not sure what’s going on lately, but this place used to have the best local chicken parm hero with fries. I recently started ordering the dinner instead, and out of the last four times, they’ve only gotten it right once.
Last time, I specifically asked for the side pasta with no sauce I got home to find the chicken parm had no sauce on it instead. This time, I made sure to explain the previous issue while ordering and clearly outlined how I wanted it. On the drive home, I checked the bag and saw they forgot the second part of my order. I had to turn around and wait for them to make it.
When I finally ate the chicken parm, it was the toughest, rubberiest chicken I’ve ever had and half the mozzarella sticks were hollow inside. The best part to this dinner was the gelato!
We order frequently from Joe’s Burger Bar and Rio Grande with no issues. I know they’re all owned by the same owner, so I’m not sure why the quality and consistency here have dropped so much.

I can’t wait to come back. The pizza was amazing, we got the “Sammy” along with the kids cheese pizza and a fajado salad. Everything was delicious and came out quick.
The service was quick and efficient as well!
I got the birthday cake gelato and it was so yummy too with chunks of cake mixed in. Fantastic experience!

Pizza is of high quality ingredients and unique to the area by the ingredients and cooking style.
They do have specials every day now and also lunch specials.
The smaller pizza is the 9.99 lunch, any pizza for that price, salads for 5.99 lunch size.
The Hot Honey we have had a few times and is a fave.
I saw an employee eating what looked to be some type
of off the menu meatball sub, please ad that to the menu!

This was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in North Carolina. You can tell the ingredients are very high quality. This pizza had best cheese pull. The crust is soft and tender, and the pepperoni is thin and delicious. The workers are very polite and the service was incredibly fast! The atmosphere was very pleasant as well. The place was very clean and they even had free fruit infused water. We will definitely be coming back here

Our first visit today while out running some errands. I was skeptical since this spot seems to be a rotating pizza establishment. We were NOT disappointed. By far the best pizza we’ve had in a very long time. Quality ingredients make this pizza exceptional when compared with others pizza joints. The crust was thin so you didn’t get all that heavy dough but was thick enough to support all the toppings. The sauce, oh my gosh…. So good.
And the speed of service was just crazy. Most pizza places take a while. But their new brick oven is super fast. And pizza came out hot and cheesy.
Atmosphere was clean, bright and cheery. I highly recommend the Sammy or the Louie. These are large enough to share between two people. Yummy !!!!
