I am very picky when it comes to ice cream — especially chocolate ice cream — so when I say this is one of the best I’ve ever had, I mean it! While strolling through downtown Fort Myers today, we stumbled upon Belgian Yummies and spotted their Belgian chocolate ice cream. One taste was all it took… and for the first time ever, I actually went back for a second cup!
Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — it truly tastes like real Belgian chocolate in every bite. And to top it off, the owner, Benjamin, was the sweetest and made the experience even better.

Absolutely amazing gelato and crepes. They are both probably some of the best I’ve had ever. The gelato flavors are amazing. It is so rich and creamy. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It is evident the owner takes pride in his work. I hope I can squeeze in one more visit before we return home.

The recent addition of Belgian Yummies in downtown brings some of Europe’s highest quality sweets and treats to Lee County. The crepes are made to order and are both soft and crisp. The authentic hot chocolate made from callets and steamed milk is divine! Not to mention, the Gelato is fresh from scratch by the owner, whose parents owned a creamery in Belgium. There is no question that this is the best dessert shop in town. You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love Belgian Yummies!!! I love desserts wherever I may be! I have never tasted Belgian waffles until this time in my life. Oh My Goodness! The best!!! I allow myself 1 amazing dessert dish once a week for a treat for myself! The owner is straight from Belgium and makes everything fresh with so much love and care for the dish he makes for every customer. My favourite is the CHUNKY MONKEY with added M&Ms. It is such a luxurious, chocolatey waffle, hand-made creamy vanilla bean gelato ice-cream, I also add M&Ms. Amazing! Thank you Benjamin, for real!!!

Our family went downtown to have dinner and I knew we had to go here for dessert. It was delicious, and everything is made fresh right when you order. The Liege S’mores waffle was awesome. We will definitely be going there again!

Such a great experience. I had a yummy, bubble waffle with sliced strawberries, crushed graham crackers, house-made whipped cream and vanilla gelato. It was really good and I will definitely go again. I would recommend to anyone craving a sweet treat! $10 for mine, it was a great deal; their serving size is more than generous!
