This is practically a hole in the wall eating place, lol, and I Love it! The guy was really nice (not sure if he was Mr. Gus) but he was really nice. He cooked our food right there and then so it was fresh and hot. I do not know what what batter he used but baabby it was really good. The chicken was well season, the coleslaw was banging, the fries was good, everything was good. This is definitely going to be my spot for fried chicken from here onwards.

Some of the best chicken I have ever had. It’s not real hot right away, when it’s warm it is more spicy than hot. If it sit it gets hotter/spicier. I am not one for hot food at all, and I was able to eat it fresh. When it sat and ate more later it was hotter. The white meat stayed moist even after sitting for a while. Delicious

The chicken was super good. My favorites were the wings, but the breasts were pretty good as well. I ordered some Mac N Cheese but it wasn’t very cheesy. It was more like a slightly spicy pasta than Mac N Cheese, and it really didn’t have any cheese. The Mac N Cheese was still good for what it was, but I’ll get the slaw next time. The decorations were very nice, and there’s plenty of seating.

I stop here every time I’m in Dyersburg TN. Delicious food. Service is great and everyone treats you like family. I have eaten at 4 Gus’s restaurants including Chicago. Best fried chicken you will ever eat. Side items taste homemade.

This was the worst food I’ve ever had. I moved here from up north and people kept telling me about Gus’s Fried Chicken. My son and I tried it and we both were very disappointed. I don’t know if it was the cook that was there at the time, but someone didn’t season that chicken, and the macaroni was also bland and awful. That was my 1st and last time.
