I had a great experience at Gus Deli in Milwaukee. From the moment I walked in, Gus himself was incredibly welcoming and made the place feel like home. The vibe inside was warm, friendly, and inviting, the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable.
On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and made with care. You can really tell there’s pride behind what they serve. Between the great atmosphere, amazing food, and Gus’s deli is a standout and definitely worth a visit.
This is spot we will be back to more often.

New to the area and wanted to try a new place!! This establishment did not disappoint!! Everything was made to order and the turn around time from placing the order to receiving it was quick! The business, itself, is ducked away, but extremely spacious! The staff was friendly!! I’ll certainly be returning to try more of the menu!! And don’t worry about the prices, you will get what you are paying for!!

Gus and his wife Debbie run such a perfect operation here! The sandwiches are fantastic and quick. The breakfast burrito is the size of your head. The homemade salsa is out of this world. I don’t think my kids have had a better PB&J than Gus whips up! What truly makes this place awesome are the PEOPLE! Gus and Debbie are true customer service pioneers!! They ensured not only that we had an excellent meal but they treated us like family. Any kind of business establishment could learn a thing or two them. Thank you!!!

Gus is literally the guy cooking your food, cool accent, and a very nice lady to help take your order and point you towards beverages. Atmosphere was really cool, you can tell the guy is very grateful and it reflected on me. Gus noticed I was done eating and he asked me if it was good. It was the best gyro I ever had. The lamb pieces were thick and juicy, very well seasoned. The rice seemed to fill the room with an aroma of seasoning. Bright orange rice. Mmm it was good. The gyro was just so gas dude very large and took home left overs to my fiance she also loved it.

Ordered the gyro, was gonna get it by myself till I saw one of the plates come out it’s absolutely huge. So I split it with the person I was with so good and so fantastic. Definitely recommend this place. It is considered a hidden gem, we saw the advertisement in the Sunday paper. I’m so glad that we found this place. Interesting you order Your meal from the chalkboard menu, and then they bring the food out to you. They have a cooler with drinks. Plus, they have a full bar. Super clean and worth the experience. Bathrooms are immaculate and real toilet paper.

I went in the morning so I’m not really sure how the crowd is but I had a breakfast sandwich that was out of this world. It was so simple. Just a bacon, egg and cheese toast sandwich but it was so delicious. Everything was so fresh. The toast was so buttery Gus was so humble and appreciative I’ll definitely be back

We couldn’t find the place! It’s next to CBS 58 headquarters! Would never know it was there but thanks to Google we found it. We came in 45 minutes before closing and we’re going to take our food to go. When we walked in we weren’t greeted, which at first bothered me. Then we were informed he would cook what we wanted, put it in a to-go container and we could eat until it was time to close up. Sounds good to me because I’d be mad if someone came right before closing.. We got the gyros. Let me tell you it was huge! Got second for later huge! It was so tasty. Worth the money. I can’t wait to try the breakfast! We will be back.

Saw an article talking about the great quality of food and owners, so decided to go for lunch the next day. Absolutely incredible food! Walked in to a very friendly greeting and chat while I decided what I wanted. Chose the Club and not only was it massive but the best sandwich I’ve had in the Milwaukee area yet! 100% to anyone looking for a great meal and large portion of food!
