On the way to Destin, we decided to have lunch. After searching, we stopped at Guru’s Pizza 786.
About 15-20 minutes before we arrived at the restaurant, we called ahead and ordered a Butter Chicken Pizza, an Achari Chicken Pizza, fries, chicken wings, and a house salad.
We were able to find parking easily near the restaurant. Since we ordered ahead, our order was ready and we were seated promptly to enjoy it.
We shared both pizzas, both of which were very enjoyable. The specialty pizzas were cooked well and were delicious, tasty, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them.
The chicken wings, fries, and house salad were also excellent, delicious, and paired well with the pizza. The food was both delicious and satisfying to eat.

The restaurant has a diner vibe and indoors and offers a wide bar of pizzas and pastas including fusion dishes. We tried their chilli paneer pizza on the recommendation of the owner, who was friendly and nice. I expected the chilli paneer flavor profile but it was a pizza with some spice mix, green bell peppers and paneer. It wasn’t bad but a tad greasy. It’s a unique place as it offers some interesting sounding fusion dishes, and even though it wasn’t the best pizza we’ve ever had, it was definitely welcomed on a long roadtrip.

Me and my father came in on a Friday afternoon looking to try some new foods and we were beyond blown away with the quality and care of the food and customer service. We had an order of the mango habinero wings to start off. He got a curry meat lover calzone and I had a large chicken tikka masala pizza. From the first bite, you can taste the care and effort they put into there craft. I would give this place a 12/10 if I could rate it any higher. If you want to have some great pizza, this is the place to get it.

Seriously the best pizza ever! If you’re on the fence about trying Indian-style pizza — DO IT! You’ve got to try it at least once. The crust is out of this world and the cheese is perfectly melty . We travel to PCB every six months for work, and we always make it a point to stop here for their butter chicken pizza. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had ordered Veg Curry Pizza, Cheese pizza and cheese bread. They were all delicious and perfect crunchy. They have ton of Indian as well as Italian style pizza and other options available.
We did havw to wait over 25 or 30 mins for our order but in their defense, everything is made from scratch and they do say quality takes time.
We loved the indo-western interior design and their Hershey’s ice cream was really good.
Highly recommend this place to any vegetarian and all pizza lovers.

We were really looking forward to trying Guru’s Pizza 786 based on all the great reviews, but unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype for us. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs (meatballs tasted frozen), shrimp penne alfredo (not good at all), wings (not fully cooked), and the masala fries (the only thing we actually enjoyed — but let’s be honest, it’s hard to mess up fries with curry seasoning and a sprinkle of parsley).
We didn’t try the pizza, so maybe that’s where the rave reviews come from, but overall, our experience was underwhelming. We spent little over $100 including tip and still left hungry and disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

We only got one picture of one of the dishes we ordered from Guru’s Pizza because it was all so delicious that we ate it before we thought to take pictures. The flavors and ingredients are all thoughtfully put together and will put a smile on your face. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza (pictured), Butter Chicken Penne pasta, and a house salad. All were delicious and made our time in Panama City even more enjoyable.
