Great food! We went here for brunch yesterday and it was amazing! The service was as great as the food. We ordered chole bhaturae, aloo prantha, and paneer aloo bread pakora. Everything was pipping hot and tasted so good! Pakorae were good for what they were but it wasn’t what I was expecting but Iooking forward to trying their paneer pakorae next time! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu 🙂 oh, and path playing in the background was so nice!

So far, everything that I tried here was outstanding. This time we got samosas and paneer pakodas. The samosas are only a dollar each, and they are huge. Not to mention delicious. I could just order a few of those and be good for lunch. The paneer pakodas are double stuffed, with a layer of spices and herbs in the middle. And the breading they use is crispy and loaded with flavor. I also personally like that there is no meat on the menu, so no need to worry about cross contamination if you don’t eat meat. I’m definitely going to be a regular here.

I went on a road trip with my husband and stopped by guruji foods. During our visit we ordered rava masala dosas and cholle bhaturas, which were both delicious. I had never tasted anything like that before. It is highly recommended that you visit this restaurant if you are in the area at the time of your visit

So excited that this Indian street food restaurant opened several weeks ago- a place to get dosa! We have visited three times and tried different dishes each time. Twice in-shop and once carry-out. Everything fresh and delicious. Staff always super nice. Not a fancy place or fine dining and the atmosphere reflects that. They clearly put a lot of care into what they do and it shows in the food itself. Do yourself a favor and get the masala iced tea and a sweet (or several) while you are there.

We were traveling through town with a family of 36 people and we had called earlier for food. By the time we had reached there they had all the food ready with excellent service. They had many employees just attending to our need. Usually I am tired of eating the same gravy for Punjabi food in Chicago but this food quality was different and really good. I would always stop by this restaurant whenever I am passing through this area!!

Happy to see a restaurant at Greenwood serving Indian snacks and chaats. We did not have a restaurant specifically serving dosa, vada, idly, paani puri, papdi chaat etc. I have been to Guruji Foods couple of times now. Even ordered through Doordash. Their Aloo paratha, Muli paratha and Gobi paratha are very good. The Masala dosa delivered through Doordash was all soggy and lost its taste. The sambar was also not tasty. Recently I tried their Medu wada which was really good and to my surprise the sambhar this time was quite tasty. Unfortunately I also tried their Paani Puri which was one of the worst I have had in my life. I then tried my luck with Papdi chaat and Dahi Bhalle. Both were disappointments. The paapdi chaat looked nice but the papdis were so hard. Even the Bhalles in the dahi bhalla was so hard. Its the basic requirement of dahi bhalla to have the bhalla soft, but they missed it. I will hope they improve these. Overall 2 stars because there is a lot of opportunity to improve their food especially the chaat menu. Would love to see a good neighborhood Indian restaurant.

We ate dinner at this restaurant today and were pleasantly surprised to have a pure veg restaurant with both north and south Indian options. Crispy dosas and noodles were delicious and quick service as well. Would definitely recommend and come again.
