I was hoping for a better experience overall. I’ve had Ethiopian food a few times before and I did not enjoy this restaurant the same. A couple friends came with me they loved the sambosa, and they enjoyed half of the vegan platter. I had lamb it was well cooked but very oily. I tasted the items on the vegan platter, most tasted like vinegar. I don’t really care for vinegar taste in my vegetables/lentils. The restaurant was cute! Bathroom could have used a clean up. Service was not bad.

Some of the absolute best Ethiopian food I have had. Ordered the vegan platter, zil zil tibs, and the awaze tibs with a cup of tea. The food is out of this world and I wish I could just pick this restaurant up and move it closer to my house. One of the best surprises I have had in a long time!

My daughter and I shared the sampler. Exceptionally good! My father had the chicken stew, very good if a bit unexpectedly spicy for his taste. Service is difficult as the server barely spoke English, but we were all able to get everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Ethiopian food. We enjoyed the vegan combination and the chicken stew (Doro wat??) Everything was excellent. They even had a singer pianist duo in Saturday night. Great atmosphere, decor and there’s a sense of pride here. This will become my go-to for Ethiopian going forward.

Fantastic atmosphere. Fun wait staff. And the food was exceptional. The sambusas had just the right punch to them and the assortment of dishes we tried (lamb stew and vegetable combos) were so well done. We could not be happier to have a new restaurant in town of such high quality!

For Ethiopian restaurants this seemed so much cleaner. Service was excellent. The zilzil tibs were VERY chewy. They are meant to be well done, but that is also a way to disguise meat that’s not the best. The injera was not our favorite, had a little bit of a funny taste to it.
