Excellent local restaurant, with an emphasis on seafood, but the non-seafood dishes aren’t an afterthought. Fresh, plump boiled and peeled prawns, fried calamari and grilled local grouper were cooked with aplomb, whilst the children’s Menu (burgers and chicken tenders) were delicious.

Delicious food and drink options for a great price! It’s a very popular place so we always book our reservation early! Happened to go during an early bird time and had the special. Bread, salad or soup and meal all included for a great price! Always a must visit when we are in the area.

My family and I had a great experience at Guppy’s. Restaurant is clean, personnel was helpful and kind and food was great. We ordered Spanish octopus as appetizer, very good. The Main dishes were lobster twin tail, grilled mahi mahi and panko fried grouper. All three were excellent. Each this comes with steamed vegetables and a side, like garlic mashed potatoes or French fries. For dessert we had apples pie with pecans and ice cream to share. It was also very delicious.

Delightful restaurant right across from the beach. We went for lunch and had a great experience. Our waiter had been working there for literally decades and was so good. He loves his job, the town and sharing it with the people who come to eat here which just made the whole experience unique. The food was very good. I had the grilled grouper – so good.

After a long gap we returned to one of our local favorite restaurants. Surprised no issue with lunch reservations. Service good and over 2 days we ordered the artisian salad first as an appetizer then as an entrée by adding a crabcake. Also tried the lobster bisque and fish and chips. All very good and reasonable. Parking was easy and they have renovated their restrooms.

We have been going to Guppy’s for years, but unfortunately tonight wasn’t their night. We hate to be critical but tonight’s Seabass special was tasteless and wasn’t up to par in my opinion, especially for $38 as a main course. Plus your main course ‘baby back ribs’ special was dry & chewy. Remember your competition is at your heels.

1st I want to express my husband and I are locals and visit Guppys frequently. However today our bartender experience was just awful. We sat at the bar and I asked for 2 waters. No hi my name is so and so..just a smug face. I asked for menus..(I was there for their awesome lobster bisque) she then says “Are you going to order anything other than water!”

Great swordfish tacos for lunch. The food was so good at lunch we returned for dinner the next day and I had swordfish again. The dinner swordfish is wrapped in bacon and was amazing.
