Guppy’s is right across the street from Indian Rocks Beach County park. We walked over to get Linner ( late lunch early dinner) and was pleasantly surprised.
Happy hour went till 5:15 and we were killing time to get pics of the sunset on the beach.
Friendly staff clean facility and the food was great .
No wait to be seated and they have inside and outside dining areas. Rebekah was our server and she took great care of us.

Would highly recommend!

This is a nice place and we found our food was very good. Service was attentive and the outdoor seating was plentiful. We ordered the tuna dish as an appetizer. The tuna was very fresh. The fish and chips were excellent with a nice crispy batter with tartar and a malt vinegar aioli. We also go the special of the day which was Mahi Mahi ith grits. All delicious!

Guppy’s on the Beach in Indian Rocks Beach delivered a superb dining experience. We began with the Asian sashimi, which was fresh and well balanced, followed by a tuna salad that was both light and flavorful. The standout entrée was the blackened Australian sea bass—perfectly cooked, rich yet delicate—topped with a decadent Cajun brandy mustard sauce that elevated every bite. The accompanying broccoli and coleslaw were fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared, rounding out the dish nicely.

An exceptional meal and a restaurant we would enthusiastically recommend to anyone looking for delicious seafood with bold, memorable flavors.

Where should I start? Food! We ordered 4 different kinds of meals and it was all good . The crab cake was delicious!!!!! Love my sea bass panko crusted fish, my son had the soup, his friend had the seafood with pasta and my there kid had the fish and chips. All were cooked perfectly. If in this area, try this place, you won’t regret it. Also, didn’t mention that it’s just across the beach?

We drove by a few times and wondered why it was always packed. So finally we decided to stop for lunch. We ordered an appetizer, steak tacos, drinks and dessert. It was delicious. The appetizer was only okay – the crackers it was served with were very cheap and individually packed. Lol. Really annoying to open too . But the steak tacos were delicious and so was dessert. The service was great. And the patio is fun and shade is provided at most tables. I could see why it’s a local favorite. I enjoyed it!

Had a great meal at Guppy’s during my stay in Indian Rocks Beach. The service was accommodating for my family of 5 (wife & 3 kids). My kids enjoyed the kids fish & chips (lots of leftovers that were eaten up the next day without complaints). My wife had the chicken breast entree and absolutely loved it. I had the panko crusted mahi mahi and it was excellent. Will certainly be back!

First off the sever was incredible!! I ordered the lobster bisque and it was brown and completely flavorless!! My entree was the grilled grouper, it was a tasty but a very small portion. The garlic mashed potatoes were ice cold and the broccoli was basically raw and cold. My wife ordered off the early bird menu and got a cup of fish chowder which was tasty and the coconut shrimp which was really tough and a bit overcooked. All in I spent $100 with tip. In my opinion not worth it!

Great spot for great food and drinks, the inside was a bit crowded and felt overwhelming to me, maybe because of the ceiling?! Not sure, but we enjoyed eating outside, the food was great, bathrooms were super clean and that’s always a good sign about the cleanliness of a restaurant, the waitress did great and we didn’t have to wait long for our food and drinks to arrive. The valet gentleman was very nice and deserves a promotion or a raise.
Thank you!

I can’t say enough about how impressed we were by this establishment. The reviews were excellent but didn’t prepare us for what we experienced. We were sat rather late in the evening, and that often leads to poor service and “end of day” food. Nothing could be further from the truth.
We were treated to a great over the water sunset view seating and had a wonderful server named Spencer. He had excellent recommendations and explained the menu perfectly. He even went out of his to way to accommodate our toddler all while providing outstanding service. We will certainly be back the next time we’re in town.
