The chicken was cooked really well. It was not dry and crunchy. I recommend getting the nuggets with desi peri peri flavor over the sando. its just easier to eat. The garlic duck fat fries were also pretty good. The people I ate with were not fans of the regular fries though. I also really liked the sweet corn chaat. It was really creamy and the flavors were quite nice

Guppy’s is an absolute must try Indian chicken food truck in Austin. I ordered their classic chicken Sando and it completely delivered. The sandwich had a big juicy fried boneless thigh on a soft potato bun topped with crunchy coleslaw pickles and their amazing hook’em sauce. I went with the mild spice level and it was perfect with just the right kick of heat in every bite without overpowering the flavors.
The Garlic Duck Fat Fries were unreal. Crispy fries drizzled with rich duck fat and finished with garlic herb seasoning made them incredibly addictive and the perfect side to the sandwich. Everything tasted fresh bold and well thought out. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.

I was influenced by social media to come here. The gentleman who helped me did so with a big genuine smile and a very neighborly vibe.
I got spicy nugs and duck fat fries. Not being hyperbolic here when I say that they were the best fries I’ve had in my 39 years of life.
Note: ticket times are long so just expect that

Possibly the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, juicy, crispy & flavourful. The tikka sauce on the fries was delicious & the chef and owner is a legend.
If you like fried chicken this is the place to try.

We were driving back to Dallas from San Antonio, tiktok’ed for a food truck and Guppys was one with high review .. Tried Guppy’s Indian Fried Chicken and it was excellent. The food was very good—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. I really liked the different concept and the variety of heat levels and flavors to choose from, which makes it fun to customize your meal. The peri-peri fries were especially good and paired really well with the chicken. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you enjoy bold, spicy flavors.

If you’re craving a sandwich that packs both flavor and heat, this Indian food truck nails it. The chicken breast is fried to crispy perfection—juicy inside, crunchy outside—and it doesn’t get lost under the spice. The seasoning has a real kick, the kind that warms your mouth without overwhelming the flavor.
The bun is soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the pickles add that tangy crunch you need with fried chicken. The sauce is creamy with just a hint of sweetness, balancing out the spice perfectly. Every bite feels indulgent but well thought out.
Overall, it’s the kind of sandwich you think about long after you’re done. If you like bold flavors and a little fire, this is absolutely worth it. ️

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to an event and the service was AMAZING! The workers were all so very kind and helped us decide what we wanted to order as it was our first time there. The food came out quickly and fresh. You can tell everything is made to order. I meant to take a pic to include in this review, but we couldn’t not eat it right away. I got the nuggets with the honey badger sauce and it was GREAT! Deadass best food truck I’ve had in Austin in a while.

I’ve never had anything quite like this. The chicken was super crunchy and flavorful with a juicy inside. He have us extra sauces to try as well. We ordered the People’s Sando, Honey 65 sando, Honey 65 nuggets, and the garlic parm fries. Everyone was very pleased with their food. It had great spice without being too hot. We plan to return!

incredible. we got the nuggets and a curry 2 piece and i was in shock how good it was. the chicken was tender, the skin was crispy, and it was so so flavorful. the hookem sauce has this smokiness that was addicting, the chili ranch was perfectly spiced. the curry sauce was very reminiscent of andra style as was the bed of rice it came on. the owner is so sweet, i loved his energy and he’s clearly passionate about his work. definitely recommend this spot, easily one of my new favorites in austin!

A new concept Indian fried chicken sandwiches! They are very good. I highly recommend trying them!
I loved the sandwich and the chicken nuggets. I tried the peri peri fries and the tikka fries. They are a bit soggy and the dry rub can be over powering. But still good nonetheless!
