Ive eaten at every single restaurant in the vicinity but have never visited this place. We were celebrating a birthday and the host wanted to eat here. Boy was i pleasantly surprised! We had a party of thirteen and they were able to accommodate us with no reservations. Harvey was our server and he was phenomenal. Our party didn’t arrive all together so he attended those who were present. When everyone showed up he took our orders. What was impressive was he knew his menu, making recommendations and letting us know what was available and what wasn’t. He allowed us to enjoy out appetizers and food followed in a timely manner. The restaurant is 50’s themed but the food is not. They have a great selection of choices on their menu with 24hr breakfast available. The motorcycles and jukebox was a nice touch and there were many pictures throughout the restaurant of 1950’s personalities but there was nothing detailing who Gunther Toody was. Even though the food was delicious our server, Harvey is what made the evening special. Great service. Thank you

Weekday lunch visit, a little before 11am.
Had to wait awhile by Hostess podium for someone to attend/acknowledge me, even though a few of the staff saw me.
Left to check if Korean BBQ restaurant was open but, closed, so came back here.
As soon as I entered, I was immediately attended to and felt they knew what had happened earlier.
Ordered Chicken Fried Steak and coffee. Food came with white gravy, bland. Maybe, I could have asked for brown gravy? Potato chips were really good.
Food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Service/server was , pretty much, left alone to enjoy my food. Actually, prefer this less intrusive service.
Decor is very 60s diner vibe. Full marks on that one.
Menu is varied and I might just have not ordered to my palette’s preference. Will reconsider rating after another visit.
Barring initial incident of being ignored upon entrance, I give them better marks upon my return, as well as, right amount of attention while dining.

They are quick and friendly, but the food is cold, cheese not even melted inside, even eggs cold, pancakes very bla. Won’t be back, told the waitress and she only suggested ordering something different…..

Was really unorganized, they messed up my order and order next table over, like 3x. The mushroom appatizer was really good. The beer are well priced for a 24oz. I was enjoying the oldies music a lot, I think the staff got tired of it and flipped to like 80s Rock at the end. The menu is fairly big and varied which is nice. I do want to go back and try a few more menu items. Had a good time minus the short staff and disorganization. Is still give it an A.

Gunther Toody’s Diner in Northglenn is a fantastic spot for breakfast! I’ve been coming here for a long time, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, especially their classic breakfast options. But what really makes this place special is the staff—they’re absolutely wonderful. I came in for breakfast on Sunday the 23rd of November. The food was good, but the atmosphere and the service is what will get me to come back above anything else. Food and service used to be good. Me and my family would go here before our motorcycle ride. Waited 15 minutes to be sat. Took 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us. Food was luke warm. My dad’s food wasn’t even cooked all the way. Server got annoyed when my dad pointed it out. We just paid and left. Hopefully they get better.

We had a great meal recently. Food was fresh, great tasting and big portions. The mushroom gravy was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our milkshakes were delicious as well!
