Great experience all around. Prices were very reasonable, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered the Belgian waffles, hot cakes, and the new Johnny Cash Hot Chicken Sandwich—everything came out fresh and flavorful. The real standout, though, was the coffee… easily some of the best I’ve had at a diner. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Sometimes I miss the Steak n Shake of yore, and this more than scratches the itch. Good tasting food with fun names. My Chicken & Waffles was definitely on the upper tiers of diner versions I’ve had of that dish. The milkshakes we got were very good as well. I enjoyed the decorations spread all around the restaurant.

Went here back in December and had an excellent time. They were a bit understaffed so it was longer waits for food and beverage but that was actually nice because we got to “slow down” with all the stress from holidays. Husband got the Monte Cristo sandwich, I got the country friend steak, and kiddo got a kids hamburger. They have a large menu so there’s definitely something for everyone here, including all day breakfast!

I completely underestimated this 1950s family owned diner. I came in expecting the food to be mid, I was proven wrong. To start the customer service was to tier. Not overly done in a phony or corny way, but a genuine how can I help you lets make this a great experience kind of way. I started with a super thick and creamy milkshake of theirs with chocolate ice cream and Oreos added. The base was actually chocolatey and they loaded it with Oreos! I tried their appetizer sampler with chicken tenders, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms. The tenders had this insane crunch that one could only describe having been through this experience, although they could’ve been seasoned a bit more, with a dip of ranch we were in good company. The mozzarella sticks tasted like the ones you get at the movies, not nasty but also nothing amazing. The fried pickles were an interesting feat. It seemed like the breading and pickle coexisted but on separate planes. Not my favorite out of this meal. My main course I tried their appetizer sampler Ernest Hemingway Burger. This burger was HUGE, like an actual burger should be. The patty was cooked to perfection, although the burger lacked adequate seasoning, it had all the components to make it a great burger just needed one missing piece. I also tried their New Turkey Pesto Sandwich and when I say absolutely delicious I’m not kidding. As a side I chose to do the cheese curds, and I’m sure glad I did. They were light airy pockets of cheese with a little sponginess due to the cheese, and they were crisped perfectly not too crunchy not too soft. I could eat these everyday breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall good service, good food, and even the side sauces yummy, I recommend!

Strawberry and cream waffles were huge and hit the spot! The over-easy eggs were crispy on the outside and running in the middle w no runny whites. The ham wasn’t overly salty and golden brown. It’s better in 3/26 than when they opened. Good job and good experience

I’m a former restaurant manager, so I tend to be both a little picky and pretty understanding. I’m writing this in hopes it’s helpful feedback!

This was our third visit (first since the grand reopening), and honestly, after our previous experiences, we weren’t sure we’d be back. But I saw the post about the new changes and wanted to give it another try and I’m glad we did!

The food was much better this time around, and the new menu has a great variety with reasonable prices. My order was made incorrectly (I had asked to sub bacon for sausage, Swiss for cheddar, and tater tots) but it actually ended up being delicious, so I didn’t send it back since my toddler and I were both starving.

Our server was fine, just not very personable or attentive, nothing major, but noticeable. It looked like a lot of the other servers were working hard! Food took a little longer than expected, though not a big deal. The only real disappointment was our milkshake, it was thin and not blended and the glass was only about ¾ full, which seemed off since other tables’ shakes looked great, so maybe just a server slip-up.

All in all, I can definitely tell the owner has made some positive changes, and I’m happy to say we’ll be back to give it another try!

Went to a Gunther Toody’s in Columbine area a while back ago which was good though a little far from home… but my experience in newer Parker location was far better.

This location is large and so clean! Love the Halloween decor and the very large dining area was big enough but with enough space and booths that when full of customers it wasn’t loud at all.

Our server Winnie H was amazing! So patient and friendly, bringing us our tasty food hot and fresh with a smile and kept our drink cups full asking if we needed anything else. Definitely one of the best servers we had in a long time at any establishment.

To the cooks – y’all did great as well. Food well seasoned and delicious. Thanks for the perfect sunny side up eggs! Coffee, hot chocolate and shakes were absolutely delicious as well.

We will be back here again for sure!!

So, first time ever to this place. I’ve always enjoyed the diner look and feel. This place definitely hits that feel and looks it too.
Went for an over 55 breakfast special and it did not disappoint. Was expecting one pancake but got 2 instead! What an awesome suprise.
Coffee was good, food was good, pancakes were great and even got a shake to go! (Thick, creamy, and delicious)
Two motorcycles on display along with fin time gated memorabilia of the era. Absolutely enjoyed it!
I will return for sure. Maybe one day that HD will find its way to my house. 😉
Stop reading this, get in your vehicle, and visit already!

This might be the worst meal I’ve had in the last 5 years easy. To be fair they saw it looked terrible and asked if I wanted to replace it but I just kept it. The gravy was cold, the Chicken fried Chicken was old, Dry, and burnt. It was so bad I ripped the burnt pieces off to try and eat the dry chicken. Maybe it was what I ordered, Or the time I went, it was an early Saturday so they were busy. Most reviews seem ok

It took a while to come in, we were hesitant because other locations we didn’t remember being very good. Well we were wrong!! It must be the ownership, the food is so good, the service is phenomenal. This was our third time back in the last two weeks. Ruby took great care of us. I usually don’t even like eggs and pick around them but their scrambled eggs are so fluffy and delicious. I don’t have a photo of my food because it was inhaled. Can’t wait to come back again!!
