This place is phenomenal! Everything we had to eat and drink was on point!! We had the Sweet Whiskey Burger and the Nashville Chicken Pasta to eat and both were soooo good. The drink we had was were the Peppermint Bark and the Pineapple Express and both of those were also delicious. We cannot wait to go back as there were so many things on the menu we want to try!!

We really enjoyed dining at District 13. Found the place a few years ago searching Google Maps. Stopped at around 1pm on a Saturday, and luckily they weren’t too busy. I liked the layout of the restaurant with the bar being centered and table around. The tables were nicely designed. We both got burgers which were excellent. The mozzarella sticks were a bit pricey for only 4. The burgers were $16, but to add fries to mine instead of chips tacked on another $3. I think all burgers should come with fries. The hand cut fries were good. I was also disappointed to see the 3% credit card fee added to my card. Overall, glad we stopped and enjoyed the meal.

Starting off with the pros, the restaurant is super cute and quaint at Christmas time, but very small. The food was very tasty as were the drinks. Especially like the drunken snowman! And our waitress was friendly.

Now the big con! We walked in the door the first Saturday in January at 7 p.m. to a restaurant that had maybe what is 3/4 full. We were immediately greeted upon entrance and taken to a table by a nice young man. We sat at the table for what seemed like eternity and nobody ever stopped by to take our orders or say we’ll be with you soon or anything. While we waited, they set a two person party at the empty table that was sitting next to us. A waitress came over and took their orders and still ignored our table of four people. We we’re holding our menus up in front of us so it’s very obvious we had not placed any orders yet. So we figured that waitress wasn’t our waitress and maybe ours was in the bathroom or something? That new table of two people got their drinks, and their food ordered, and we’re still sitting there waiting. We were thinking we needed to get up to leave as it had been 20 minutes at this point being totally ignored since we sat down. And the bartender and the waitress that was tending the table next to us, we’re talking at the bar pointing at us, and the bartender ended up coming over and getting our drink order. No apologies whatsoever mind you. So we knew we were off to a really bad start here! As soon as she took our drink orders the two top table that set down a good 20 minutes after us, had their food brought out! So after she brought our drinks, she then took our food orders. Our food order was delivered when that party of 2 had already eaten their food, walked out the door, and a new party of two was sitting down. If it wasn’t for the fact that we had already tried to go to a different restaurant in Sunbury that was closed for renovations, and this was a backup, we would have just left and went somewhere else. There is literally no excuse for this! And none of us wanted to make a scene, so we just stuck it out. I will say though once our waitress waited on us everything there was great. But waiting 20 minutes to get a waitress, having a table seated next to you and having their drinks and food before you are attended to, is absolutely unacceptable!! We’re just four middle-aged ladies, so there would have been no reason for them to not want to wait on us like we were going to be a problem or something. So although the food was good, I think I’d be hard-pressed to come back here and give them business again. I am now a property owner in Sunbury, so I’m going to have to find out what other restaurants I’m going to have options of.

The food here was absolutely delicious!! The kids got chicken strips and Mac and cheese and the proportions were huge and for only 8 dollars. The loaded French fries were delicious!! The place wasn’t crowded at all. The staff was friendly and super quick and checked on us for refills for our time there. The restrooms were clean. If you’re in the area you have got to stop by, you won’t regret it!

I’ve been here three times now, and the service is consistently great. I always see the same waitress, who is always awesome. I really love the pumpkin beer and the cowboy carne tacos (or whatever they’re called). Their sweet potato fries are amazing too. My kid loves the corn dogs. I also appreciate that their smokey old fashioned, and restrooms are always clean.

What a glorious find in Sunbury! Our host/server was awesomely knowledgeable and so friendly. She explained several menu items and made sure to share the specials and any other info you’d need. Their house-made potato chips – ranch seasoned – were fantastic, along with the fried pickles appetizer. Their hand-cut French fries were insanely good. We all decided on sandwiches; two cheeseburgers and a fried green tomato BLT. Everything was delicious! The maple whiskey bacon was our favorite. We will definitely visit again. Great find!

We’ve eaten here twice — once for takeout and once dining in. Our takeout experience was positive: the food was tasty and ready right on time as promised. Unfortunately, our dine-in visit was very disappointing. We waited over an hour and a half for our meals, and it was unclear who our server was because no one checked on us regularly. Our drinks sat empty for long stretches, and we had to ask multiple times for refills. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and didn’t taste fresh.
It’s been a few months since that visit, and we haven’t returned — and likely won’t. Sadly, based on our experience, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to others.

Great experience. I got the fish and chips, crispy Bangkok Brussels which were very good. The tartar sauce is with dill. My hillbilly palate enjoys the sweet relish.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today on our way from Johnstown to the outlet mall. We had never even heard of the place and wow, we were impressed! My husband ordered the Philly. I got the Caprese sandwich. Both were delicious as were the chips. Atmosphere and service were both great, prices were very reasonable, we will be back!
