This quaint Thai restaurant is run by an all female staff and makes you feel welcomed as if you were in their home. From the pretty window display to the colorful table covers, the music, the hand script drink/dessert menus on mini easels placed on each table, fresh flowers, and of course the food. They offer a great lunch special (mon – sat) for $12.99 ($13.99 if you order shrimp). This includes a choice of soup, appetizer, and entrée. All served fresh, hot, and delicious. This has some of the best Thai food, and I highly recommend it.

Lived in the area for almost 3 years and I’m ashamed to admit that it’s our first time eating at Gummlai Thai.

This restaurant is a great little gem in Roslyn! Hidden on a busy street, enter into a quaint room with authentic Thai decorations on the wall. The menu is decent and offers a variety of options to satisfy your palate.

Food was definitely 5 stars worthy, I could not stop my self from taking the next bite even though my stomach was saying otherwise. The atmosphere is like a hidden. Gem if you love peace. Very delicious drunken noodles (looks like drunken noodles in Philly is more red pepper oil based) I had here. Went to this place just a few times but so far, this is my best Thai restaurant in Philly. I’ve stopped searching more places since I found this place! Perfect seasoning is all about it. Tom Yum soup is also great. Street parking is not easy but doable.

I would go there just for the Thai Dumplings. My absolute favorite. All of their food has been great, and their service has been fast and friendly. But seriously, if you’re ok with mushrooms, get the Thai Dumplings.

Great authentic Thai food. Enjoyed appetizers and entrees. Took a long time ordering because there were so many choices. Can’t wait to return and try different items. Server was very pleasant and helpful. It was our first visit to this restaurant. Soft music added to the atmosphere.

Nice and cozy place. Curries were good and appetizers were my favourite (veggie dumplings and spring rolls). Pad thai was too sweet and was unexpected. Friendly service staff but our order took very long to be served.

Very small but cozy restaurant. The staff is really only one waitress but she’s very nice. Food was good. Came for lunch good combination for soup, appetizer and entrée for less than $16. Parking behind building or in the street. Cash or card. Ordered a Thai tea, dumplings, and curry. No alcohol.
