Highly dissappointing in the food. I did doordash and they must get the leftovers. Do i have to dine in for decent food and good presentation!? Not to mentioned i paid 56 bucks for a kids catfish dinner small side of greens 12 piece wing and ten dollar cup of gumbo that I was charged extra for shrimp but I received not a one shrimp plus I didn’t eat it because the lid was all broken as if someone cage man style took the shrimp out or the restaurant package it this way so the gumbo had no juice could not be trusted to be eaten

Delicious & adorable!!!! The last weekend of each month they have a seafood boil & live music! The two bands we’ve seen have both been outstanding. It’s a smallish place, so the music is very loud… I wouldn’t hate for it to be slightly quieter as it’s nearly impossible to talk.. but I don’t want to complain as the music is excellent! That said… if you haven’t been here in the last couple of years… it worth another visit. The food, atmosphere, service were all excellent!!!

2 for $14 special was perfect for me. I got the Michigan Salad and added their yummy cornbread to eat with the Shrimp Creole. Brittney and other staff were very nice. Enjoyed a quiet dinner to myself.

Where have I been? This place has been in my backyard since 2011 and I had no idea!

The food was amazing — the catfish and fish & chips were the best I’ve had in a long time. The all-you-can-eat crawfish on the last Friday of the month is a steal, and the coleslaw and hush puppies were delicious.

We topped it off with some of the best desserts I’ve had — huge portions of bananas Foster and banana bread pudding (each easily serves two!). A live band played the entire time — I felt like I was in New Orleans!

The service was friendly, attentive, helped suggest my meal, kept our drinks full, and we never felt rushed.

Awesome place!!!

I had a last minute party to put together for a wedding celebration. I called and spoke to Terrie and she was so accommodating. She even called me back and offered to set up a buffet and just charge us per person. Everyone raved about the food and atmosphere. We had Caesar and House salad, croissant sandwiches in ham and chicken salad, hush puppies, and fresh fruit.

What a Stunning Place ‼️
Beautiful Decor, Quaint Vibes, love the hanging umbrellas for the New Orleans feel.
Waitress was AMAZING, she answered our questions, kept checking on us when needed & the Bar Keep was so friendly as well. Other customers were nice & the place was well-kept. My ONLY suggestion would be some faint jazz music or something to really make it feel New Orleans. It was extremely quiet. Outside of that. We would definitely return to Gumbos …. Thank you for your hospitality ‼️

First time visiting Gumbo’s! It was an absolute pleasure! A family oriented environment. The staff was friendly and attentive. Oh, and the food! I really enjoyed my pick 3 sample dishes! I also tried the voodoo catfish, which was probably my favorite! Well, the cornbread was also my favorite…lol. All the dishes we ordered had a little kick to them but not too much! Lots of flavor in all the dishes we tried. We went on a Friday at 6 pm, and there was plenty of open seating. After 6 p.m., the parking was free. We were able to find a parking spot that was a short walk to the restaurant.

I have to add that our leftovers reheated well and tasted even better the next day . I would definitely give them a 10/10! I will definitely be back to try out some other dishes on the menu!

I love the look of this place! Little sidewalk bistro-style tables, exposed brick. Quiet, too.
The staff seemed preoccupied when I arrived (after 1 pm). They were having issues with the GrubHub machine not displaying an orders. Took about 10 minutes to get my order placed. Others after me were quicker.
Ordered the Pick 2, half a sandwich & etouffe (other choices available). Went with the Cuban sandwich. Not perfect – French bread versus Cuban, no crunch when biting into it – but the best I’ve seen this far north of Tampa, for certain.
The etouffe is a bit salty but otherwise delicious.
Like a lot of places I’m discovering, there is a surcharge for using plastic but they do ask everyone.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try the muffuletta, the gumbo, red beans, the po’ boys, etc.

Very nice place with a great vibe. Food was very good. I got the taste of New Orleans special and choose red beans and rice, gumbo without shrimp and jambalaya without shrimp. Flavor was nice and great portions. It was very slow when I got there but heard it is very busy when they have their “Boil” on Friday nights. If your craving cajun give it a try. With being a new visitor to this part of the country, I personally didn’t have anything that was so good I would have to visit again. I would seek other options to see if I like something else more.
