They had a fried chicken leg special today that came with dirty rice – it was all excellent! My daughter got a gator bites basket and my husband got a shrimp basket. They both said that their food was good as well! We used the drive-thru, so I can’t comment on dining inside. I see some other reviewers saying that its expensive. Watch their Facebook page for their specials. My fried chicken meal was only $10.

I’m critiquing honesty based on what was prepared for me. I hope this drives the owners to be consistent and observant when serving ppl. Total spent $48.
Shrimp Ettufee- the rice was day old reconstituted and mushy. Ate a couple of bites then threw it away. Rating with the topping 3/10.
Shrimp po boy- was decent. Bread was soft and lightly crispy on outside. Would have loved to have darker healthier greens on my sandwich. But would still give a rating 6/10 with the sauce.

Alton NEEDED their presence and their amazing food. The traditional gumbo, cornbread, red beans and rice, unicorn cookies, and strawberry crunch cake pictured were so amazing I wished I would have bought more. The food here TASTES like it was made with love and experience! They have daily specials and are always bringing new food to their customers! Ordering is easy, the food comes out quickly, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, the ownership is amazing, I cannot say enough good things! Try them out, I promise you will not regret it.

We bought Gumbo, Jambalaya, Smothered Cabbage, Cornbread and Red Beans and Rice for carry out. The food was ready and hot. My husband and I both enjoyed all of it. Will definitely go again.

Stumbled across them on tiktok and thought it looked good, so headed over to try them. Tasted even better than it looked! Zenna was super sweet and friendly, felt like I had been there 100x! Food was incredible, had a shrimp po’ boy w cornbread and beignets and this place instantly became a favorite. Definitely will be back to try more things!

I can’t say enough about this fantastic restaurant. They bring authentic cajun cooking, quality ingredients, fast and friendly service, and more to the table. I’m pretty sure the chefs put love in everything they make and the owners really take pride in their work. They understand that feeding the community is an important job and they give it their all. I’ve tried a lot of things on the menu and never had something I didn’t like – everything has dimension and layers of flavor. Everything is seasoned to perfection.
