The Cashew Walleye is one of the best fish dinners I’ve ever had! Paired with acorn squash(!), seasonal green beans, and topped with cherry butter… amazing! We were lucky enough to catch a Sunday jazz & blues live show. Top-notch experience!

Stopped here for dinner and live music. Rather a long wait to get in. We liked the outdoor seating, and the band playing that day was good. Food was decent for the most part, with the exception of the clams appetiser, which nobody liked. The mushroom ravioli was quite good. Service was friendly, but on the slow side.

Says you get three hand breaded tenders with your order. I was thinking because it’s a $20 order of chicken tenders that it would at least be a decent portion but I literally got maybe four bites worth of chicken in total between only two little tenders! I asked the server about it before I left the building and he just said yeah we give bad portions here I’m really sorry! I just simply would not recommend going to this place ever it was my first and last time that for sure!

It was busy, but our food came out at a reasonable time; we were not in a hurry. I had the fish sandwich with rings. The fish was good, but it had several pin bones. It would have been nice to be warned before I started eating it. The fries were great ( taken from my sons plate ), nice and crispy and hot. I paid an extra 2-3 $ for onion rings, but there were only 5 rings. Nice outdoor seating area.

Amazing place for lunch. So worth waiting to eat. Great outdoor area with umbrellas and facing the water. Our waiter, Holly, was absolutely Fantastic! Great drink choices, and they have awesome strawberry lemonade. We didn’t plan on stopping here, but we’re so glad we did!

Great restaurant in Pentwater. Reminded us a little bit like Mackinac City. Super nice outside eating space. We sat at the bar and Joe was fantastic. One of the other customers had a gluten free diet and he worked hard to make sure she was taken care of. The food was excellent. We had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich and the Michigan salad with the ahi tuna and the lobster bisque. Both were excellent. We would definitely go back if we came this way The dinner menu looked yummy.

Best Reuben sandwich East of the Mississippi !!!
Gull Landing in Pentwater, MI has one of the tastiest Reubens I’ve had in years.
And here’s why: The corned beef was cooked in house, stacked high, and melted in your mouth. The marbled rye bread was fresh and perfectly grilled. Gull Landing knows how to cook a Reuben and added the right amounts of cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing.
There’s no need to find a New York deli for a great Reuben; come to Gull Landing in Pentwater for the real deal!

On a nice day the deck is a great place to have drink and listen to music. The food was average at best nothing special based on what we had which was our only time there and we basically ordered bar food of a burger, Caesar salad and my son had chicken strips. Our salad came with a salad dressing package similar to what you’d get at a make your own salad at a grocery store. I asked about fresh fish but it was all fried no other option. We had just got off the water from a rough boat ride from Frankfort so I ordered a double jack and coke and I had to ask if they made a double because it tasted mostly like a half shot with coke.

Great food, server was very distracted , brought wrong order for the queen. This was our fourth visit and only bad server we’ve had, the other covered for her lackadaisical behavior however so it wasn’t too terrible. The setting ( we always eat out on the deck) is a lot of fun.

2022 The cod was outstanding. We had a table outside and it was worth the wait. All kids approved of their meals, and the marinara shells were sooo good! The owner of the restaurant, Dianne, was working along side her staff, and it is clear she has pride in her business. There is also indoor dining.

Back in 2023 and Hailey, our server, was awesome! Everything was delicious and there were no leftovers! I had the chicken club and it was gigantic, the baked potato soup was perfect!
