Chicken pulao and chicken karahi with garlic naan, Cheese naan is super good next comes the biryani
Dynamite shrimp has more coconut flavor and the egg platter is just roll and egg if they would have added more items it would be great personally i did-not like butter chicken.!!!but leaving these two ..!!! I would come back for remaining items .!!

If you are looking for an authentic DesiBreakfast, this is the place! I had the Nihari and Paya this morning, and the flavor was incredible.
The meat was so tender it literally melted, and the gravy had the perfect balance of spice and richness. It’s easily some of the best TraditionalFood I have had in a long time. A must-visit for any #Foodie!

Had an amazing experience at Gulberg Xpress! I ordered their Dal Chawal, and it was exceptional — beautifully presented, generous in portion, and packed with authentic flavor. The food was fresh, tasty, and perfectly balanced. Excellent service made the visit even better. I’ll definitely return with my family. Ordered chicken biriyani.. taste was good but it was EXTREMELY OILY. You can see in the pictures literally oil was dripping from every grain of rice. It would be very nice if the chef takes care of this thing otherwise taste was good.

This place was 10/10 for us. Asifa at the register was such a joy greeting everyone like they were family and providing exceptional service. Rarely do you ever see that at a desi restaurant, someone so pleasant and smiling a beautiful smile the whole time.
The food was incredible, not the watered down, white washed desi food you fond everywhere else. Come prepared because this is truly authentic. When we looked into the kitchen, the chef was none other than Mohammad Bhai whose food we had tried at another restaurant and loved it. Unfortunately he left that establishment but we were lucky to find him here.
Word of advice to the restaurant, keep Asifa and Mohammad Bhai happy, they’re true gems!

I didn’t believe the prices first and thought it’s a typo or old prices. When I stopped by it’s real. $6.99 biryani. You can’t find that anywhere else in Jersey. And it tastes so good. Portion was very generous as well. I enjoyed it and will buy again.

We visited Gulberg Xpress yesterday and had a great experience. We ordered the chicken tikka, paratha roll, and chicken Chapli kabab, and everything was absolutely delicious. Even though I’m usually not a big fan of chicken, I really enjoyed all the dishes—the chicken tikka in particular tasted very much like bihari and was outstanding. Based on this experience, I’m confident their other menu items must be just as good.
This is easily the only Pakistani restaurant in New Jersey—especially in the Edison area—that I truly loved, and I’ll definitely be visiting again during my short trip. The only downside is the limited seating space, so it’s best for small groups. If you’re not coming with a large party, this is definitely a go-to spot.

I was genuinely impressed with the chicken biryani here! The portion was generous, the flavor was rich, and the chicken was tender. The best part? I got 2 biryanis for just $7, which is an amazing deal for the quality and quantity. Definitely worth every penny. I’ll be coming back for sure!
