I’ve visited Nuestra Familia Taqueria a few times with my mom, and she really enjoys their green salsa. For a while I thought the place had closed, since they once expanded and now seem to be back down to half the restaurant. Our most recent visit was a bit disappointing. We were the only customers there, and my mom ended up having to kill a spider on the wall that had an ant caught in its web. The atmosphere felt a little dreary, possibly because of all the decorations and idols they have displayed. Our burritos were also harder than usual, and the waitress didn’t seem to know what “chunky beef” meant. I hope they improve, because the place has potential and we’ve had better visits in the past.

Wow.. amazing food, atmosphere, and staff. Everyone was so welcoming and recommended their favorite foods. We loved how authentic everything was and the handmade fresh made tortillas. We will definitely be back!!

So excited to see this place open again after being closed for Covid, parking and entrance off rear parking lot. 2 brothers and sister all speak broken English, we understand each other well enough. Decades this place a Sw Detroit classic Mexican restaurant. Marvelous lunch special Chicken Tinga Enchiladas en Salsa Verde sauce OMG. Come with Rice and Charro Beans only $7 until 3pm everyday, a must try. The chef gave us a couple bowls of Birria with Potato Soup , addictive broth outstanding Delicious. We shared a Queso Fundio mixed Chorizo n Cheese . I had 2 really great Al Pastor Taco’s with fresh made Tortillas, some of the very best ever Eaten . She had a Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla another winner. The salsas are very unique and flavorful. Find on Facebook Yelp and Google, NOTE many terrible reviews from another owner several years ago. Totally different and five star again, every weekend Smoked Mexican Char Chicken. Not a 5 star restaurant but it is real authentic Mexican food. As an overall compliment to the restaurant, they have REAL tacos which were really good to be a Mexican restaurant in the US. Good and warm service.

Buddy and I went to eat lunch after work. Very authentic food. Great service. Was in and out in 40 mins. They also serve beer . Great first experience. Will definitely be back.

Nasty food. Al pastor tacos meat was really weird texture. They forgot to put my tostadas for my posole in the bag…got home and had to eat without it. Disappointing I’ve never wasted tacos before but it was that bad that I didn’t touch the second taco. The NASTIEST AND WORST PART was there were chips in the bottom of the cup of salsa.
