We found this amazing taco restaurant by watching an LA food channel and the couple making the video said that this was their favorite taco place. We took a cab here after doing the Warner Brothers studio tour for dinner. It was empty when we arrived, but the workers helped us choose which tacos we wanted, but in the end, we ended up going with a variety plate so we could try the different types. It was a great way to get some authentic tacos. Highly recommend!

Guisados in Downtown LA may look unassuming from the outside, but it ended up being the best Mexican meal we had during our entire trip to the US. The moment the food arrived, it was clear this place focuses on quality above everything else.
I ordered the 6 mini taco sampler, which offers smaller portions of their regular tacos. Altogether it works out to roughly the size of two and a half full tacos, and every single one was packed generously with flavourful fillings. The Cochinita Pibil and the Frijoles with Queso were real standouts, each with its own bold, rich taste.
The Quesadilla con Chorizo was another highlight, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My drink, the Armando Palmero, was incredibly refreshing and bursting with flavour. Our server recommended it, and her suggestion was spot on. She provided excellent service throughout the meal, friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the food they serve.
This spot is a true gem, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Downtown LA.

Stopped by Guisados on Spring and I’m already planning my next visit. The tacos are legit — rich, slow-cooked flavors on soft, handmade tortillas. I had vegan tacos, steak picado, cochinita, chorizo tacos and every one was fire.
Not huge portions, but super satisfying. Great vibe, fast service, and just all-around worth it if you love real, hearty tacos.

I was in downtown LA and I had read about this place so we decided to give it a try. Small cute place in there DTLA location. Ordered a mini taco sampler which was a perfect recommendation. First off, this is not a regular taco shop so be open minded. There guisados are delicious Very favorable and unique in there own special way. Each taco hit my palette differently. There tortillas where just as awesome. It left me craving for more. My only complaint was that they use a frijol guisado as a base to all there tacos which a felt took away from each guisado. My favorite of the bunch was the mole. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu.

Delicious just like any of the other locations. Had quite a few items and everything is amazing! Gluten free and plenty of veggie and vegan options. Also delicious for meat eaters, shrimp options and they even had ceviche tostadas and they looked awesome! Had both cucumber lemonade and Armando Palmero, excellent.

Stopped here randomly couple hours after attending the dodger stadium world series event, had the steak taco and bean and cheese the tortillas are freshly made and food had good flavor, tried the cold brew Horchata it was okay, the service was lacking, girl at the register (receipt had name Priscilla) wasn’t very welcoming didn’t even provide a receipt knowing we need the receipt to use the restroom, then we received our order missing 2 tacos, they did give us the tacos and added two extra tacos. I don’t think we will be returning to this location. At the time it wasn’t even busy I don’t understand how they messed up the order.

I read really good reviews, was in the area, so decided to check it out. Very friendly service. The server suggested we try the sampler, consisting of 6 mini tacos with a variety of meats. Very delicious and filling! Highly recommend!

I got two beef and two fish tacos, and these bad boys were stuffed to the brim. The tortillas are so fresh and a little on the thicker slide which makes it easier to eat the tacos without them falling apart. You must go while you’re in downtown LA
