This will now be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Sun Prairie!! It checks all the boxes. The service was excellent, chicken enchiladas with creamy tomatillo sauce was delish, and the restaurant is cozy and clean. The servers were so polite and sweet. M family loved it. And we are picky!!

Nice, local Mexican restaurant. Guimo’s recently moved to a new location on East Main Street in Sun Prairie. We tried the Enchiladas Verdes and they were very good. Super friendly service and nicely decorated with some old brick walls displayed.

My husband and I are very picky about our Mexican restaurants but this was probably in our top five Mexican restaurants/experiences outside of Mexico! Awesome, authentic flavor of the food, great service and clean beautiful dining room and bathrooms! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area again. I hope you stay in business for many more years and keep up the fantastic job. It’s been a while since we’ve had this great of an experience eating out. Very impressed!

And my 4 and 2 yr old ate alot as well, very pleased with the speed of the food coming to the table, the chips and salsa were great tasting and glad there were refills had two kids gabbled the first bowl of chips and salsa me and the wife are the second, my food was superb I had fajitas supreme with chicken shrimp and beef it was outstanding! Everything was cooked so well it was delicious, I will definitely be back for more meals on the menu especially seeing my kids eat as much as they did made me very happy!

Hevos ranchers and pozole were tasty. Great new location. $4.00 for chips and salsa.

The steak chimichanga was full of oil. Saturated. I don’t think they had the oil hot enough that this would happen. Also for $16 it was mostly rice. A few overcooked pieces of beef.
The woman’s bathroom was clean but there was no toilet paper and had to use a paper towel.
Unfortunately will not be back and couldn’t believe they had a 4.5 rating online.
The staff was pleasant.

A bit pricey but good.
My tacos campechanos died after being sent back due to onions that were not supposed to be on them. Someone picked them off re-cilantro’d them and sent them back so you can imagine corn tortillas after 10 min. Yup fell apart!
But flavors were good.
chilis toreados were a disappointment. Plating was awful, no seasonings, just 2 plain fried jalapeños for 3$
Also not a fan of the rice it was missing the Mexican part. Almost like rice-a-roni. No veggies or potatoes. Weird.
Will probably give another try.
Definitely not top of my list more of a close second for this area.

Visited here passing through. Good food with huge portions, even for the kids. Decent prices too. The staff were wonderful. I always appreciate a mexican restaurant that has horchata!

I ordered the “Wet Burrito”…not the most appetizing name in the world. Anyway, ordered it in steak and it came with rice and beans. I’ve eaten a lot of burritos in my life and this could be the best burrito I’ve ever had and may have been the best Mexican meal I’ve had in the U.S.

My wife had Fish Tacos, she enjoyed them very much. Came with a mango relish, quite tasty. But OMG, that burrito!!

An absolute hidden gem. You might drive right by and not even notice the place but don’t let that fool you. I had some of the best steak tacos I’ve ever had as well as excellent homemade hot sauce. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. Plenty of food for the price. I don’t live nearby but I’m going to be definitely coming here again next time I’m in the area.
