Food was not bad. Ordered the crab cakes, eggplant parmesan and trigger fish. Crab cakes were ok. Eggplant a trigger fish were both cooked well. Side mashed potato with garlic was very good. Ambience was great. Service was excellent after we seated ourselves.

The food was incredible and the servers were super sweet but they seemed somewhat disorganized. They let another couple take our table because they hadn’t set up a wait list and the other couple came in and sat down while we were waiting for the hostess to seat us.. We ended up waiting a half hour for another one. Their bar is basic but what they had is good. Food was very tasty but the kitchen was super slow. By the time our entrees had come out we were no longer even hungry because we had waited so long. We got to the restaurant at 630 and left at 9. We didn’t hang out very long after our entrees arrived, either. But the food was amazing and the servers were sweet. I would give them another try, if may have been an off night.

We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the steak medallions. We did notice on the reviews/pictures online the menu prices fluctuate what seems almost daily. The bread was probably the best thing, but our food wasn’t bad either. The steak was very tender but bland. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were good. The shrimp were average bacon wrapped shrimp. Not wowed so to speak but good.

Wait time a little long-they appeared understaffed, and the servers didn’t work well together, but the food is worth it! We had the Spicy Fried Mozzarella, Scallop Risotto, Lasagna, and Strawberry Cake…ALL sooo good! A little pricey for a family, so save for an occassion, or share plates-portions are more than generous!

Took my step daughter out for her birthday dinner to Guido’s and we were not disappointed at all! The appetizers were great, wine selection was nice, and the service and atmosphere was fantastic! Even my 13 year old loved the roasted artichokes!

Delicious food. Great service! I got the Eggplant Parmisan and although not what I’m used to was really very good. Didn’t come with pasta, but a sauce and green beans and a small amount of mashed potatoes. Perfect and I was full and brought home half. My friend got the Pork Snietzel (sp?) and she really enjoyed that. Would definitely go back again and possibly order the same thing!

Such a quaint inviting restaurant. I love the variety of options here. Multiple gluten free options. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about which ones I could have. My husband had the lamb chops & they were perfect. I had the duck since this is not available in many restaurants. The waitress recommended medium rare but I got medium. I’ll try the chef’s recommendation next time. Lots of flavor, loved the fresh potatoes & vegetables. Guido’s is on rotation for date night because of the many choices. Great service as well.

I like bringing out of towner’s to this restaurant. The menu selection is huge and has something for everyone. On this night I got the lamb chops with mushroom orzo and sauteed squash & zucchini. The meal was excellent and plentiful. I am never disappointed here. The wait staff was great and helped with our drink selections. I recommend Guido’s to any group that can’t decide on what to have for dinner. You will be happy with the menu choices which are posted on Facebook daily. Give them a try.

Food was very good. Stromboli was excellent. Service was not great and food preparation took over an hour. It would have been nice to get updates on food order.

The food is so good. Crab lasagna, steak, crawfish pasta, everything. But the best thing, hands down, by far, no contest is the bread pudding. Son of a motherless goat that bread pudding is amazing!!! Voted best in Alabama by 100% of the people that voted.(My wife and I)
