I had the mushroom polenta with mushroom rags. It was good. My husband had the parmesan chicken with pene. The pasta was good and the cream sauce was tasty. Unfortunately the chicken was pink in the middle. They took the meal back and gave us a to-go meal in ots place. The manager never came by out table. When we asked the waitress why, she told us they were very busy.

The dragon slayer burger isn’t worth it but the French dip was great. Really nice ambiance for dinner but a little dark for lunch. Reasonable prices, great menu, and very nice staff. I do recommend!

I’ve been taking my clients and my family has enjoyed Gubancs since the 1980’s. They have the VERY best Reuben in Lake Oswego, everything on the menu is delicious! Cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff, highly recommend!

I was very impressed by this restaurant, my first visit. The food was very tasty, the ambiance warm and welcoming. The only suggestion is that the person who refills water glasses visit a bit more frequently. I get that many people do not drink their pre-poured water in restaurants, but when you don’t order another beverage, it would be nice to have those short water glasses filled a bit more frequently.

My entire dining experience was wonderful! My bourbon based cocktail was delicious and the slice of pineapple was so sweet! Rather than switch to a wine I had two cocktails! We shared the nachos which were delicious with pulled pork and black beans! I had the spicy meatloaf sandwich with sriracha aioli! What a great sandwich! Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was excellent! I plan to return and try out other menu options!
