We got the beef rib (Saturday) and brisket and baked beans.
The beef rib is well-seasoned (great flavor), but some parts were tough, while others were very juicy and pull apart tender. Also, $45/lb is very expensive for what you get, as more than half of the rib is bone weight and fat. Our rib was around 2lbs, so around $90, and we got around 1/2 to 3/4 lbs of actual meat = it’s expensive for what you get.
The brisket had great flavor and was juicy.
The beans are very spicy, but good.
The sauces are delicious (original and spicy). Pickles are self serve.
The service is very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.
There is limited free parking in the lot behind (spaces are labeled), then metered parking.

We came in near closing time on a Friday and were the only ones in the entire restaurant, which was surprising because the food was so good. All the smoked meats we tried were excellent—short ribs, chicken, and pork were all flavorful and tender. The macaroni salad was also a standout. This is a must-try spot if you’re craving Hawaiian food and prefer a more relaxed, low-key setting without the crowds.

We were the first customers of the day. Friendly staff greeted us with hospitality. Food was good! I had the pork and rice. Wife enjoyed the duck! Would definitely return for more.

Just had lunch at this place. Super hidden gem. The guy running the front was chill and gave us some recommendations. We ended up ordering the smoked combo plate, with smoked pork and chicken. Yes yes yes!!! Omg it was the best we’ve ever had. The chicken was moist and had a great flavor. The pork was caramelized and juicy. Like yum!!! My mom got the chili…ehhhh was not good. Super super salty and kinda had a weird flavor to it. Not sure what was up with that. But the other food was amazing. Will

Good food i got the smoked kalbi it came with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad my wife got a two item plate with kalbi and chili two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad my wife loved the chili we had a late lunch we went here right after we landed in Oahu the kalbi is a thicker kalbi more like meat chunks still really good but I prefer the traditional kalbi definitely not the restaurants fault the service was good but not great you did not feel super welcomed in a little restaurant like this they should make you feel like a long lost friend but to each there own.

I got a pupu bowl of half smoked chicken and half smoked spicy pork. They are both beautifully charred, tender, and super flavorful. Though I liked the extra kick of spice of the spicy pork, it was way too fatty for my taste so I prefer the chicken. They ran out of galbi when I got there before noon so I would go early if you want to try that out.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting Bishop Museum. Delicious food and friendly, fast service! I had the chicken sandwich plate and my wife had the pork and salmon combo plate. The mac was really yummy too, I wanted more lol. Would definitely eat here again!

Update- 2025 they still going and I ordered frozen smoked pork. 5lb pack was $55 which I thought was very good value.
Small place with great smoked food! There are only 4 parking stalls in front of the store but directly across the street at Young’s Meat Market there are a few more stalls with signs.
I got smoked duck, kalbi, boneless chicken, spicy pork as well as butterfish and smoked meat fried rice.
Everything was good to great with the exception of the fried rice which I thought was just ok.
Also tried the guava bars which were pretty good, especially texture wise. I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet but wish the guava flavor stood out a bit more.
The help was fast and friendly and had my order ready to go…literally they were placing it on the counter when I walked in.
Great experience and I’m already craving my next meal here.
