Guat-A-Taco is simply the best food truck I’ve ever had. The owner will come out and talk to you, shake your hand, and ask about his food. Mr. Henry has very quickly become a crowd favorite in this community and his food is worthy of every bit of praise that it gets. His staff is amazing as well. If you’re reading this review and the truck isn’t around, please go eat at his restaurant “The King’s Bistro” at the depot in Kingstree.

We moved to Santee SC from Upstate NY we tried a few Foodtrucks but none compare to Guat-A-Taco! Consistent Fresh Delicious Food! Their Birria Tacos are the best we’ve ever had! They’re the nicest people, we are headed out today, where, to get a taco!

The Beef Birria burrito was amazing, they even included a cup of Birria sauce to dip my burrito in. I also had the Agua Fresca Jaimica which I found out is made daily in house with fresh flowers and spices. Definitely more than just your average food truck.

I just want to start off by saying that I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. The food has been absolutely perfect all four times I’ve had them now! Extremely fresh food coming from these guys that I would highly suggest trying especially if you love a good taco. In my honest opinion there is no competition…Guat-A-Taco is superior to any other taco restaurant / food truck you could compare them to.

I’ve been wanting to try Guat-a-Taco for weeks and yesterday I finally got my wish. WOW! Not only were Carolyn and Henry some really nice folks, my chicken birria tacos were AMAZING!
The chicken was perfectly cooked, onions and cilantro were fresh, and tortillas to die for. Everything was hot and made to order. The consommé was perfect—I could have drank it when the tacos were done. I can’t wait to try something else next time!
20/10 will be back again.

Henry and the team at Guat-A-Taco are so incredibly friendly! The food itself is unbelievably great, but when you combine the friendly service and the atmosphere with it, it makes for an unforgettable experience! I can’t wait to go back!

They move their truck between two different locations so be aware through their fb account bc we did have issue finding them at first. We ordered the chicken birria tacos and the broth was not as flavorful has we anticipated and we did not receive onions and cilantro which I think would have helped to add more flavor.
